Same here. I have no relatives, that I know of, that actually put a boot in vietnam. They all served, but in some other way. Europe, Korea, Alaska, reserves, etc.
My dad was a marine, went to ‘Nam. My FIL served in the Pentagon. One uncle served in Thailand, the other was in the Montana National Guard. All of them served circa 1968-1972.
