PROVEN STRATEGY TO PROMOTE YOUR CAUSE / BUILD YOUR LOCAL GROUP

HERE IS A SURE-FIRE (PROVEN) STRATEGY FOR PROMOTING YOUR POLITICAL CAUSE AND BUILDING UP YOUR GROUP WITH VOLUNTEERS, DONORS ETC.

ON ELECTION DAY stand outside election precincts in the most conservative part of your region.

Collect petition signatures. WHY? People who vote are more politically involved than other people. Those who will stop and sign a petition care even more than the average person, rather than rushing past.

So you are picking out the cream of the crop -- the best candidates for future activists, donors, and supporters.

Even better -- go to the election polls for a PRIMARY election. Those who vote in primaries are even more likely to be involved in political affairs.

So, the reason this is a proven strategy is that you are "capturing" the names of people most likely to be supporters and activists -- not just random people.

THEN... you follow up persistently (but not abusively) sending the list information about your cause that will continually increase their level of commitment, excitement, involvement, and passion or outrage about the cause.

THEN... after "heating them up" with more information, ask them for EITHER donations or volunteer help. Try to present it as of course they need to volunteer but if they cannot do that can they make up for it with a reasonable donation. [SNIP]
