“It’s not getting away with rape. Making bail doesn’t make the charges go away.

In point of fact, if you make bail and then run - leaving the bail bondsman on the hook for 150K or more - then the bondsman will go looking for you and he can do pretty much what he wants to do to you before he hands you over to the authorities for incarceration.”

They say the same thing with illegals avoiding courting hearings on their immigration status. But since when did they respect law.

Well, apparently he did it twice to that girl and still was out on the street (after the second time)....to me that’s far to close to freedom, imo. That man should have never seen the streets. Atleast not the American streets.

“I doubt it. Black Americans aren’t particularly sympathetic to Hispanic illegal immigrants. It’s not an issue on the average black voter’s policy agenda.

This policy was imposed on NJ from above by the judiciary.”

This is democrat land, and invertly they’re supplying these judges. So isn’t it true...that whether or not they’re sympathetic, they’re voting in the politicians whom make this possible?

These crimes are not always very easy to prosecute.

How would you explain, as a prosecutor, that someone was previously accused by a girlfriend of raping the girlfriend's child, got out on bail, went back to live with the girlfriend - and now she is accusing him a second time?

To a cynical judge this might look like a crazy woman in a domestic dispute who was prone to making allegations.

That judge is going to grant bail, especially if he is a liberal.

Yes, but they are voting for handouts, not for "sanctuary." Newark Democrats are not happy about sharing government largesse with outsiders, believe me.

I’m not sure, I read something about the UK trying software that did that on their closed circuit cameras. They had speakers attached to some of them too, so the operator could talk into it.

I can see learning programs studying past criminal incidents and looking for mathematical patterns in the video. Except it takes a lot of processing power to do. I’d probably ask an experienced beat cop what he notices when he gets a feeling a crime is going to happen.

Of course the cameras now or in the future with more tech can filter for things like sex, age, ethnicity.. like 70% of crime in some euro nations is muslim immigrants.

To me it’s apples and oranges...the citizens of that area should wise up and not vote democrat; but who am I kidding!?

Perhaps I’m a bit apt to side on the child’s side. I’m not really concerned what an illegal immigrant feels are his rights...especially.

We are not discussing what an illegal criminal's feelings are.

We are looking at the case from the eyes of experienced judges and prosecutors.

Given the history of the charges, it is hard for the system to take the claims at face value. Who accuses someone of raping their child and then welcomes that person back into her home?

Surely you can see how the circumstances arouse cynicism.
