Watch it. We are talking about SAN FRANCISCO. Big frigging difference from the rock-solid patriotic conservative regions that make up the vast majority of land within California's borders.
He speaks ALL their ideals...(hate America,hate Bush,hate capitalism...etc
He shut down all newspapers, radio stations, and internet traffic that opposed him.
Opponents of his are 'disappeared' in the night.
He's said such things as: “I am going to go after those who resist the revolution and eliminate them one by one”, "I am convinced that the path to a new, better and possible world is not capitalism, the path is socialism.", and has allied with Iran to help them develop nuclear weapons.
So, of course it would follow that the committed communist tyrants who wish to eliminate free speech and kill their opponents -- such as those in San Fransisco -- would approve.

These clowns are bullies, and for too long have been given a free pass by the “respectable” conservatives. I guess we need real democracy to elect public leaders that will dress down these commies and send them packing.

I have seen the county(red/blue) map.. The truth is republicans are turning into hard socialists.. most are light socialists presently.. The socialization of capitalism(like China) is happening quickly.. When capitalism is totally socialized then communism can happen..

The Board of Supes and Mayor are embarking on an explosion of super highrise (and incredibly ugly) buildings that will drop jaws all over the country. These buildings will go down hard when the next serious quake hits -- and all impartial seismologists/geologists are agreed that it will. The permit process is thoroughly corrupt and approval of these developments is being rammed through the system without passage of the new earthquake building standards. None of these buildings will have the steel exoskeleton required to withstand such a quake.
At this point in time, it can't be stopped by a ballot measure or even by a recall effort. And nobody of any quality is willing to run against the thoroughly deranged but politically entrenched Mayor Newsome in the upcoming election. Already, City Hall is targetting every city bureaucrat who is not on board with the development plan. Hundreds of them will be sidelined through transfer, forced early retirement or termination.
But before any of this happens, the traffic congestion and parking shortage will meet and exceed critical mass.
IMO, this construction can only be stopped if the "Big One" hits SF now. That is what it would take to wake up the airheaded liberal voters in that city.
... who unfortunately don't go to the polls in large enough numbers to turn the state around. I can't understand why so many of them are unwilling to vote.
