Resolution commending the administration of President Hugo Chavez for its commitment to democracy. Hmmm. Must be a different Hugo Chavez out there somewhere.

Just be sure to travel to the Bay Area and let these nutjobs know its gonna cost them. I printed out a copy of this to enclose in a letter I am sending to the tourism bureau. I told them of my plans to attend a conference in their city in November, I pointed out however I will eat, sleep and spend my tourist cash in a East Bay town due to their crazy leaders. :) Im just one person, but hey every few thousand dollars not spent adds up.

The hardcore Left only supports free speech when it matches their own politics:
Chavez says attacks on Bush not personal (AP March 14 2007)
CARACAS, Venezuela - Hugo Chavez has called President Bush a devil, a donkey and a drunkard. But on Wednesday the Venezuelan leader said his comments were "nothing personal."

So by how many of them are next flying down to Cuba to give Castro a personal BJ?
These are people who in decades past would have been ran out of the country on a rail.

They can’t tell the difference between the US and Venezuela. In the US they are free to bash President Bush. In Venezuela they are free to bash President Bush.

why are they even passing resolutions about Hugo Chavez in the first place? What does Venezuela and Chavez have to do with what happens in San Francisco?

San Francisco is a whacked-out communist cesspool. The Big Quake can’t come soon enough.
