that he would have a feel perhaps other presidential candidates don't have of how to connect with that part of the world, the billion people, that we seem to have such a problem connecting with and avoiding war with.Ignorant is too weak a word to describe this quisling. It would never dawn on Matthew's that it is that part of the world who needs to connect with us - not the other way around.

If that’s the standard (”by his name, he can deal with muslims”) my vote goes to Richard Coeur de Leon.

Whos this Chris Matthews person?
I think he's the lad who wouldn't accept Zell Miller's challenge to a duel.

He would look a heck of a lot better in a burka. LOL! From what I hear, people he is talking to would remain dryer if he wore one.

The morning after the Pakistan comment, one of my co-workers greeted me with, “Did you hear that? That was the sound of Barack Obama shooting himself in the foot with his new Invading of Pakistan gun.”

I guess that would explain why all these Muslims around the world don't kill each other very often, because they understand each other more.
Oh wait, never mind they kill the hell out of each other.

This is definitely one of the stupidest things I’ve heard Chris Rather of Leftspin say.
To: governsleastgovernsbest
You know, back in the mid 80's Matthews was a regular guest on Larry King's night time radio show. About 35 of us listened to that thing.
At that time, Chrissy was fairly reasonable and kind of fun for a political junky to listen to in those days when there wasn't much.
He is now a total buffoon.

Barrack “Not that Hussein” Obama? Well, let’s see: He’s a thug appeaser. Perhaps that would play well with IslamoNazis, for the short term.

No, the only way to AVOID war with the Muslims is to bow down and become Muslims.
When you say “soundly defeat it”, the only way that can be dome is through war. Therefore, that is not a way to AVOID war with them. (But it is also what we MUST do. Avoiding war with them is the wrong thing to do.)

Not only that but he’s not even taking into account that the two people leading in Afghanistan and Iraq - who have lived in the ME most of their lives - cannot deal with the terrorists.

The spitter needs to be taken off the set in a straight jacket; he has really shown he is insane. Not just with the Obama comment but his recent diatribe on President Bush and the WOT as a crusade brought to us by God talking to President Bush. He has become completely delusional. I used to watch him for the laugh fact, but as I have said many times here, MSNBC/NBC has become a real propaganda station with nothing but hate speech and lies from morning till night.
