:) :) My apologies. When I saw they weren’t quick links I redid them. And then added more as I went along. Live and learn. Man, you talk about all kinds of stuff to earn carbon credits to sell. Seaweed to grass to old mines. Who woulda thunk it.

Last month I attended a Timber Producer’s Seminar where one of the papers read was about a Carbon Credit Program. This was about pine trees in East Texas. The program they described, participation required land reforested between 1989 and 1992 in pine trees at 250 trees/acre.The contract was 2002-2011. Income off a 43 acre tract after brokerage, was about $4600 in “Carbon Credits”, if you could find an enviromental wacko to buy them.

So, they want to trade something that is not based on production, or actual commodities, and essentially trade it like futures. This is a giant Ponzi scheme, and once it starts selling short, it could collapse the whole system.

Does anyone have more info about Generation?

my first guess is that Gore wants to
get into the business of approving
carbon offset projects,

but I have no such information.
