This carbon credits scam, sounds to me like something Mr Haney of Green Acres would be trying to sell to Mr Douglas.

...to earn income by storing carbon in their soil through no-till crop production and longterm grass seeding practices.Let me understand this:
We are on one hand asking farmers to make biofuels from farmland production and on the other hand also asking farmers to NOT bring their crop in to store carbons?
Typical government efficiencies.

I have 12 acres of old growth forest, and through the genius of the government bureaucracies, it is also classified wetlands. It is truly valuable.
I'm accepting bids for not cutting it down. I will deed carbon offset credits, and wetland offset credits (a recent program here in Michigan) to the highest bidder. The credits are good for a year. Cash is accepted.
