The National "Fight for Victory Tour" Bay Area Event

San Francisco, CA - Sept. 3, 2007 - 5:15PM

Join Move America Forward and a coalition of other pro-troop groups as we promote the national "Fight for Victory Tour" (a patriotic pro-troop caravan that crosses the nation) for our third Pro-Troop Rally. The "Fight for Victory Tour" continues on Monday September 3rd with this 5:15PM rally in San Francisco then crosses the nation before concluding with "The Gathering of Eagles" and a giant pro-troop rally in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 15th.

The rally takes place at The Plaza in front of 450 Golden Gate Ave . It's adjacent to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's office.

Bring your American flags, and also bring notes and cards with messages of support & appreciation for U.S. troops who have been injured in the war on terrorism. We'll collect your notes and cards and deliver them to our wounded warriors who are recovering from their injuries at Walter Reed Medical Center (in Washington, D.C.) and other military medical facilities at the completion of this national pro-troop caravan.

For more information, email Mary Pearson at: fightforvictorytour@yahoo.com

Be sure to pass on word to others about this big event! You can also find the complete itinerary/schedule for the "Fight for Victory Tour" online here: www.MoveAmericaForward.org

Yes, travel to this stop will be slightly affected by the Labor Day Bay Bridge closure. However, do not let this deter you from attending. BART and Muni Metro service is available to the Civic Center station, where is is just a short walk to the rally location.

Walking directions from Civic Center Bart to rally:

1. SW on Market, about 1/2 block. 2. N on Hyde St, about 3 blocks 3. W on Golden Gate Avenue, about 1 1/2 blocks to the rally.

Additionally, for those of you that will still drive, think of all the extra parking that will be available!

Everybody fly the American flag on your cars. Just like we did on 9/11 and the weeks following. Fly them until this is done.

Hey, it’s been a while since we last had a FRisco FReep. Sounds like fun. Yes, the Bay Bridge will be closed all day Monday so BART will be extra crowded, but I think they might be planning extra trains. BART will be doable for sure, or else drive in from the north or south. And the big Summer of Love 40th Anniversary concert is on Sunday so folks can make it a weekend “trip”!

I’ll be returning from vacation the day before. Will try to be there, although I can’t guarantee anything. Thanks for posting this!
