CAMPO, Calif. -- One Minuteman leader accused a rival Minuteman leader of videotaping the shooting of an illegal immigrant, but sheriff's deputies investigating the report Saturday said the video was fake, as did the maker of the video.Robert "Little Dog" Crooks, leader of the Campo Minutemen, said he and his friends did shoot the video and sheriff's deputies came out to see what happened, but they know him well."Who in their right mind is going to shoot a smuggler, videotape it, then post it to YouTube?" Crooks said.

The Campo Minutemen have worked in close proximity with Robert L Crooks for two years.
We consider Mr. Crooks to be a "Lone Wacko." We have a strict policy, than anyone who assists with Little Dog is not welcome in our group.
The Campo Minutemen operates with an SOP and does not tolerate irresponsible discharge of firearms.
Across the border there are human smugglers and drug dealers. Across the border there is an orphanage whose children come to the border fence to play with our dogs and shyly ask questions of the "pirate." ( Our member who has an eye patch, and speaks Spanish) Across the border is a rancher who rides over and does rope tricks for us and talks to us of the smugglers who cross his property and injure his animals. He worries about his sons who are friendly with the smugglers.
We are not protesting the Mexican people. We are on the border as act of protest against the United States Government.
The Campo Minutemen have picked up thousands of pounds of trash in our Adopt A Highway program. We have assisted a female border crosser who traumatically amputated a finger as she climbed over the fence. We have gone to the site where every Border Patrol Agent has died in the line of duty since the Reagan amnesty and performed a Flag Ceremony to remember their sacrifice. We have watched, observed and reported hundreds of illegal border crossers.
The Campo Minutemen are ordinary Americans from all walks of life, self funded, giving of their time to do the job The United States Government refuses to do.

It is unfathomable to me how a member of the House of Representatives from California (Jane Harman) can consistently vote in favor of illegal immigration, but she does. Senators Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer are also guilty of the same anti-American votes in favor of the invaders.
Those who pretend to be representing us are not, they are representing slave labor corporations, and the payoffs to sell their country out must be huge. This is DISGUSTING, and these sellouts must be retired from public office, all of them, they're in every state.

This had all the earmarkings of an attempt to smear the Minutemen, not that this is anything new.
I would hope that if this guy was sincerely trying to charge the minutemen with murder, that he will be arrested and held for a considerable length of time.
