Been going on for decades. Even my grandfather sent money to Poland and bought his mother a farm there i the 1950s.

Besides, the global flow of currency is NOT a zero sum game, as and college freshman who takes an intro to Econ class can tell you. The flow goes both ways due to the nature of global capitalism. Anyone who thinks that the money "stays in Mexico/Albania/Jamaica, etc." needs to study FDI and capital flows. Don't get me started on the fact that these "migrants" spend alot of cash in the local economies (think Wal Mart).
