It will be interesting to see the first real poll after Fred Thompson actually enters the race officially.
How the hell did McCain pick up four percentage points?
I like the result, but Angus-Reid has a horrible reputation.
That rumbling you hear in the background is the “Newt Machine” warming its engine.
I think you’ll see Fred back up at that 22-25% level when he announces. (then higher after McCain drops out)
Still, it shows McCain gaining four points?
Mitt’s doing well at 15. The deciding factor will probably be where to the McCain voters break when he gets out of the race, I’m guessing a lot of them will go to Fred!
When the negative ads exposing Giuliani’s history start hitting the airwaves, Rudy will fade quickly.
I only draw one conclusion based on any polling I'm seeing out there currently: This race is as wide-open as it could be.
Fred who? /s
I think there is a very real possibilty of a BROKERED
convention this time around.
I don’t know. I suspect it will come down to Fred (who will get a big bounce when he announces) and Mitt (who seems to have gotten a serious bump with his IA straw poll results). Why the hell ANYBODY is supporting McCain is beyond me.
We may know by Mega Tuesday in February. Or there will be some hotly contested smaller states after that...
“How the hell did McCain pick up four percentage points?”
Rudy lost 4 points. They just transferred from one RINO candidate to the next.
Rasmussen has Rudy at 29%, Thompson at 22%, Romney at 13%, and McCain at 11% as of today, Monday, August 20th, 2007. What is the date of that report you posted?

Nevermind. Just noticed that those numbers are from the 16th.
Folks are just becoming aware of Romney’s ultra-liberal record in MA. He’s doomed.
The sheeple are fogetting about the shamenesty bill already.
