LOS ANGELES (AP) - An illegal immigrant who took refuge in a Chicago church for a year to avoid being separated from her U.S.-born son has been deported to Mexico, the church's pastor said.

From what I have heard, the media is all set to start a barrage of these “poor-me-victim” stories.
It is obvious to me this woman is not a good mother. She is not a caring individual, or she would have taken her child with her. She instead left her child behind, so she could come back to the USA and try to cause trouble. She will do nothing in her own country to fight for her fellow citizens, she will come back here only to be deported again. She is a worthless individual, intent on break America’s laws. She should be given ten years, in prison, when she returns. I would love to see a jury trial for this one. I would recommend to the jury we step outside of the sentencing laws and give 100 years, no parole, hard labor, fully chained. Otherwise she will keep popping up, on our side of the border.

I agree with the priest who stated our immigration law must be fixed, to keep the family together (parent and anchor baby to be more precise). One must drive thru El Monte, California and will understand. The Mexican breeder will nest in a California city (sanctuary). After the child is born, thats it! She is sure to stay.
Is this child indeed a US Citizen? I think not, and I am sure there are some US Constitution scholars who are researching the issue. Remember, the parent (only one known) is not legally here, and her own country is claiming jurisdiction over her.

Minor offspring should be citizens of whatever country the mother is from, no matter where they happen to be born!
she is a convicted fellon and two time illegal alien.
Even with serial immigration with her son at 18, she has to submit an application for waiver of excludability.
The father is listed as unknown. It would just mean fathers who are citizens would be filled in.
In addition keep in mind she could just marry a US citizen to avoid the whole felon excludability thing.

Children Services in California should take a GOOD LOOK over this case in regards with I am the legal guardian self appointed female who thinks she just jumped in the eye of the mainstream media storm by holding on the child. She is no legal guardian. The child should be removed and placed in the custody of the Children Services. They know better what is in the best interest of the child. And then the mom will have a change of heart and stop being the pawn of all these activist organizations, claim her child and be the real loving mom she should be. In Mexico, please!

WHAT A GOOD RESOLVE: form a new branch of Children Services to deal only with these anchor babies after their parents abandon them while going back South. Let the States handle this part, and I guarantee when the taxpayers will see the bill the Congress will be forced to change the law regardind the gift of US Citizenship by birth.

It`s true, they all blame it on the U.S. like the U.S. is the rich Daddy who lets his kids starve. But meanwhile the real Daddy, namely the Mexican government, is never held accountable, even though Mexico has every opportunity and every resource in the world to be one of the wealthiest countries on earth.
The problem is corruption, and the Mexican people just don`t want to confront those few sh*tbags who are lining their pockets at every corner. Put it this way; Bill Gates is no longer the richest man on earth. It`s now a Mexican named Carlos Slim Helu. A MEXICAN is the richest man ON EARTH!
Okay, we are missing some important details here: (1) what insurance did she or the child’s father have or purchase to pay for the prenatal care and delivery, (2) what insurance has she used to pay for the child’s healthcare for the past 8 years?, how many times has she attempted through legal means to become a citizen? My guess is zero on all counts. I think this argument is ridiculous. I believe that the US should have tougher immigration laws like Canada that require skills or sponsership before you are eligible for citizenship
