Maybe she should title her book:”40 reasons I’m a selfish witch” Well, when one has kids it’s true the parent’s lives are over. Because the parents will do anything for their kids even if it means laying down ones life. A good parent that is.

My wife and I have a wonder life together, and we’ve never had crotchfruit.

Turn off the TV, throw away the paper, move to the country and go find Jesus on her own.

Those poor kids, having a mother who hates them. There’s nothing sadder than a child whose own mother doesn’t love them.

Children are a way to live forever. Or die early. :)

Hobbies are a way to kill time until you die.
Children are a way to live forever.
Let me put it this way - all of the advancements that mankind has made have been by people who did not feel that their entire existence was justified by and centered around their children, even those that had children. Instead, they thought that there were other things of importance in the world also. Frankly, I don't think it's healthy for a child to feel that the entire universe revolves around him, which is what you'll get when the parents have no lives outside of their own children.
Let me ask you a hypothetical question: if you were childless because your lifelong devotion to medical science got in the way of your ever getting married and having children, but then one day you find the cure for cancer, is your life still wasted and meaningless?

Children are a way to live forever.
Nah, they just make it seem like it's taking forever to die and finally get some sleep.

Parents today are put under so much pressure to bring up perfect chilren.Yea, or grandparents only had to deal with influenza, polio, typhoid and things like that while simply trying to keep as many of them alive as possible.
No pressure there.

People with children can dislike children or be uninterested in their children. This is not unknownand it’s not a new thing either. Talking openly and rather braggingly about it is new.
My paternal grandmother wasn’t particularly fond of children. We didn’t visit often because she was, frankly, not interested in her grandchildren. She was the kind that would rather mail you a Christmas present.
I don’t think she would have written an article about it, but she made it clear that children weren’t her cup of tea.

Admit it. You know it was electrifying.
