That stinks. I’m afraid to change to Vista too just from reading about it. I won't now. I don’t know why they had to change it so drastically like this. I can't believe they did that. It isn’t compatible with programs is so .

I hope you can upload a version of XP at some point.

Inner Peace

How do we react to hostile criticism? If it causes us to strike back angrily at our critics, we need to learn from colonial preacher Jonathan Edwards (1703–1758).

Regarded by scholars as an insightful philosopher, Edwards was vindictively attacked by the ruling body of his church in Northampton, Massachusetts. They felt he was wrong to teach that a person needed to be born again before taking part in the Lord’s Supper.

Although he was dismissed from his church, Edwards still maintained a loving and forgiving attitude. One supportive member wrote of him, “I never saw the least symptoms of displeasure in his countenance . . . , but he appeared like a man of God, whose happiness was out of the reach of his enemies.”

Edwards was simply copying the example of the Lord Jesus. When the Savior was insulted, He did not repay with an insult. When He was falsely denounced, He remained silent, “as a sheep before its shearers is silent” (Isa. 53:7).

Do you have an inner peace even when criticized? As you ask the Holy Spirit for His help, you can, as Edwards did, respond in a Christlike way to false accusations or gossip.

Just hang on to your computers with Windows XP as long as you can. :( I spent about an hour on the phone (long distance - "our" phone will be charged for it) yesterday with a tech from PI, and he couldn't resolve my issue either. They don't HAVE a later version of the software built for Vista, so I really am not sure what to do now - I can send it back and get a refund, but big deal - what's $39.95 going to buy that's even comparable in a photo editing program? That price was greatly reduced from the retail price and they offered it to me because my original PI didn't work on Vista.

Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Poetry


Providence





It's not every day that a Kitten scratches upon a Door
To nonchalantly enter and glide across the Floor
Then leap upon some furniture, as though he or she had never departed

Picking up on a conversation that had never really started
Plying the potential owner with sly and subtle Feline wiles
Wearing away at whatever resistance with flat faced, wide eyed guile
As my handsome Human repairs to the Kitchen for some food

Something sweet and delicious, that nicely matches my mood
A bowl of luscious Milk, which I savor with an slow upward glance
Very pleased to see that My Big Guy has weakened his defensive stance

And soon, I'll be enjoying rubs between my ears and under my chin
Arching my back in Mid~Purr while revealing a most satisfied grin
For those who have never encountered a Kitten, you really haven't a clue
And the First Rule is. You do not choose a Kitten. The Kitten chooses you!
