Truth is, Rudy’s positions on lots of issues mirror liberal Democrat positions.

Rudy sure fits a democrat profile!
IT is for the murder of unborn babies!
IT is a big gun control nut!
IT covered for the invaders in ITS city!
IT surrounded ITself with thugs!
Why does IT have an R by ITS name instead of a D?

Lets see,
One lawyer is fighting a position that argues against the bill of rights...
the other lawyer is arguing the position in favor of the bill of rights.
One lawyer wants to take away a right
the other lawyer want to keep that right
hmmmm
my money is on F.Thompson. (Rudy is just intelectually unarmed on this one)

way to duck the question, Rudy. You can make a city “safer” and still be against the 2nd amendment all at the same time.

Rudy's administration's policies did help reduce crime in NYC, along with a lot of help from a booming economy.
However, his gun control policies did not contribute to that. The proof is in the fact that those policies have not been successful elsewhere.
Fred said there were a lot of things to like about NYC, but the gun control policies were not among them.
Rudy's response was really nonresponse. It was particularly unresponsive because the lawsuit against gun companies was tossed out by the higher courts, so it is hard to see how he is claiming that lawsuit as a successful crime fighting policy.
