Illegal immigrant charged in toddler's kicking death

Charges were filed Wednesday in connection with the kicking death of a Coweta toddler. Michael Hernandez was ordered held in the Wagoner County Jail without bond. He's charged with killing Kelynn Byrd, 2, earlier this month. The toddler's mother was Hernandez's girlfriend. Investigators said after Hernandez and the boy's mother had a fight, she left the house, leaving the child with Hernandez. The victim died from blunt chest and abdominal trauma. Hernandez allegedly confessed to repeatedly kicking Kelynn in the chest. Authorities contacted the Mexican consulate after Hernandez's court appearance because he is in the country illegally.

I believe there is a standard reciprocal treaty obligation to notify foreign countries that their nationals have been jailed and afford them access to them.

Meanwhile I believe we ought to take a page right out of the liberals' handbook and the milk this incident for every ounce of indignation that can be squeezed from it until there is a mighty wave rolling across the nation against illegal immigration. This should be made into a civil rights movement cause du jour with a relentless exploitation of this and every similar incident until La Raza becomes the equivalent of the Ku Klux Klan.

I understand the illegal alien point of it and most definitely agree that needs to be stressed but the “idiot/evil mother” and the “evil boyfriend” side of it needs to be emphasized too. I was doing a Google News search a few moments ago and came across story after story about babies, toddlers, and older kids being abused and/or killed by the mom’s boyfriend. These are just a few of the stories that I came across tonight—recent stories that have made the news. If I dug further I’m sure I could find more. This kind of thing happens DAY AFTER DAY!

2. Child not his own.

More often than not, the child not being his own is put forth as some type of defense. So far not, but it's early yet. In the meantime, other news reports say that this murderer got roughed up a bit in jail. Not enough, though, as he only got a bloody nose.

Actually, there is a third common element in this story: a dead child.

Let’s see now. How does this work?

Illegal sneaks across the border the next night and sets up in a community near his old location. Illegal meets new illegal girlfriend with a young baby suitable for kicking practice.
