It’s also a disrespectful headline for such a tragic event.
The man’s name is not “Frasier”.

No wonder Kelsey Grammer is a conservative. He has personally had to endure the results of an evil person.

I put Kelsey Grammer up on the top shelf between Jack Benny and Bob Hope.
It is a joy to watch his comic genius and I wish him all the best.

I don’t think the article said what happened to the other 2 pieces of filth. Probably free today to go off and maim and murder again. Of course when I see stories like this often I read through it quickly because I’m afraid the details will give me a stroke.
Doesn’t say either how old the killer is now. Hopefully he will die young. If he is allowed to walk out then Grammer should hire some guys to beat some “justice” into him.

The only way Glenn should leave prison for a parole is crawling with his throat slashed.

More than that, his father was murdered and a total of 3 brothers and sisters have died. IIRC, one of his sisters was killed by a shark attack in the Caribbean. What he's had to endure is pretty staggering. It's no wonder he had challenges with drugs and alcohol.

I can’t believe that they actually put “Frasier” in the headline. I skipped this article earlier because I thought it was about some local story I never heard of. Using the name of a fictional character lessens the impact IMO. Maybe Mr. Grammar isn’t as well known in England.

Why is this killer alive today? In 1972 the US Supreme Court in Furman vs. Georgia abolished the death penalty.
All existing death penalty sentences were commuted to life and from 1972 until the US Supreme Court reversed itself in Gregg vs. Georgia in 1976, there were no death penalties handed down.
Freddie Glenn murdered Miss Grammer in 1975, and so his crime could not have received the death penalty.

I like Kelsey Grammer!
He's a funny guy, and he played the character of Frasier over many years and on two excellent TV shows. Was just watching a rerun of "Frasier" last night - "Niles, I don't have time to stand here and listen to your insanity, I have to go steal a get-well card from a kidney patient!"

I don’t remember how i stumbled on this, but I read the IMDB bio of the very funny Norm MacDonald, and there is a quote from him saying he thinks the best US president ever was Ronald Reagan! So I like Norm even more now. :)

In such a case I would have expected to see “Frasier actor Grammar” or some such thing. Some British editor has a very tin ear.

Norm is another favorite of mine as well - very funny stand-up, and I liked him when he did the news on SNL back in the '90s. Apparently Norm's rips of OJ Simpson cost him his job with SNL because some NBC honcho was a pal of OJ's.

His father was murdered in the Virgin Islands(Where Kelsey was born); his sister was murdered after leaving a Red Lobster in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and his brother was killed in a shark attack.
from IMDB...
