The problem, as always, is that the people who would walk around nude are most likely the people who really shouldn’t.

I hate to agree with the New York Times, but:

Of all the strange "crimes" that human beings have legislated out of nothing, "blasphemy" is the most amazing -- with "obscenity" and "indecent exposure" fighting it out for second and third place.

When the temporary ordinance expires next month, public nudity will no longer be illegal.

Well, my personal experience from being an active member of various nudist colonies, the people you would like to see join, never do. The people you never want to see usually do.......

JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!

Does legal public nudity make it legal to publish public photos of legal public nudity?

What will happen when photos start appearing on the internet? What will happen when people argue that it is indecent to publish photos of something that a state government deemed not indecent to be done in public?

What is the difference between real tangible "public" places vs. virtual internet "public" places?

Will photos of nudity in public in Vermont be allowed to be shown in Vermont newspapers and Vermont TV?

"We in this country are going down a slippery slope these days," said Dora Bouboulis...

Going down on a what?

Oh, never mind. I'm reminded of the limerick, in which the guy charged with indecent exposure had his charge dismissed due to insufficient evidence:

Whenever a fellow named Rex
Flashed his very small organ of sex,
He always got off,
For the judges would scoff:
De minimis non curat lex.*

"We in this country are going down a slippery slope these days," said Dora Bouboulis

And that slippery slope is called "morality".

I knew this was coming. In fact, it seems as though it has already come. I knew that when the argument was posed regarding the sex industry that “it’s not hurting anyone”, this was sure to come next. They claimed with that we didn’t have to look, even though morality was being destroyed, human beings were turned into sexual objects, and the culture was being debased while the market profits boomed and the government raked in loads of tax money. I knew nudity would come next. Afterall, they again claim that “it’s not hurting anyone” because we don’t have to look. Of course, in some cases we can’t help looking. We don’t know where they may be. How do we know these people aren’t going nude because it arouses them for men, women, or even children (sic) to see them that way. The Judeo-Christian morality is being wiped away more each day. The liberals want it that way. We can stand around, and we can allow them to do this, or we can stand up for the Judeo-Christian values this country was founded on.
