"This proposed California initiative is very dangerous – it is an attempt to tinker with state law in order to influence the outcome of national Presidential elections," Senator Feinstein said.

Her hypocrisy, while breathtaking, is not surprising at all. Yes, let's not tinker with CA state election law, but let's flush long-standing Federal laws because they're inconvenient and unfair!

As a member of the Senate (with disproportional representation, sort of a metaphor for the EC) she knows better.

We must convince small population state voters from the 13 smallest states (38 states are needed) that direct election is like giving up their individual power to urban left wing anti-american, anti-christian, illegal immigrant thugs. And that the founders, Washington, Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, and Monroe, etc. saw that rural areas needed to have protection from the resultant dictatorship.

For example,a Wyoming voter was actually given 2 votes by the founders to one vote given to the gang banger pedophile dog abuser from California (just getting into the spirit). To vote for this idea proposed by a California lefty (for open borders) would be like giving up half of that individual Wyoming voters power. Politicians will never come to these thirteen smallest states ever again if the Constitution gets amended and gives direct election.
