I think Bush really does want to sigh up to Kyoto he just can't come right out and say it. I was reading at the White House site and I can't tell Bush from the envirowackos. They both talk the same.

This should be an interesting week all around. Lot’s of things happening. Isn’t Fred supposed to announce on the 6th? Condi is “scheduled” to to Israel (maybe), Lebanese elections soon, whispers of Iran, etc.. Neat weak either way.
I’m certain I read he wants to sign the Kyoto treaty...I thought I read something before, as well, about that.
I thought Fred already announced.

WASHINGTON — President Bush invited representatives of major industrialized and developing countries to a climate change summit in September at the same time that the United Nations is holding a similar conclave.
“In recent years, science has deepened our understanding of climate change and opened new possibilities for confronting it,” Bush said in his invitation letter Friday, asking other nations to take part in discussing a long-term strategy for reducing greenhouse emissions.

Well I missed it if he did. I heard he was having a web-cast of some sort as his announcement. Not a bad idea. Don’t have to screw with buttering up to any networks. Ahhh, and Hillary’s court date on the 7th...that’s another one.
I think what’s also sickening is that conference held in NY or DC (can’t remember) where we paid for hundreds of South Americans to come here for a meeting....
