In Damascus, she visited a UNHCR registration center and spend hours talking to Iraqi refugees in their homes.Refugees with homes. Immigrants? No, Victims. Yes. Victims.

Did anyone ask her?
Doubtful.
More doubtful that she would have gone if asked.

And yet her dad is very pro troops. I saw him Hannity/Colmes and was very happy to see him talk up the mission in Iraq. Guess Angie didn’t get his sense of logic!

Don’t forget to ask the Christians in Iraq if they are being threatened and murdered by the proponents of the religion of peace.

I won't hold my breath that she goes to Anbar, let alone visits the troops. Sigh. The UN aspect of her trip was sadly all I needed to hear. While it is good she is moved to action by human suffering, she can't save the world. She's young enough that the point is moot, but I wonder if she would have visited the Iraqi people terrorized by Saddam to illustrate their plight, or the Kurds, or the people of the Sudan during the Clinton years when the genocide was ramping up fairly unnoticed by global eyes? Well, hindsight is 20/20.
Her children should be her cause-celebre now, she really would be better served spending more of her time parenting her children while they are so young and a little less time campaigning for UN-leftie causes, imho.

If those lips were between her... Oh, better just stop there.

I think they're going to be sorry when all those kids hit their teenage years.I agree, because it seems she is most often off at some locale championing human rights or filming in some exotic location, with the little humans charged to her care nowhere to be found. Something that won't do them much good now or later. She would do well to parent and nurture them now while they are so very young. We adults can hold off for her to wow us with her human rights issues at a later point. Zahara and Maddox and Shiloh and Pax may not be able to.
