Florida is the "firewall" in former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani's presidential bid, according to a Powerpoint presentation made to volunteers of his campaign in the Sunshine State and obtained by The Fix...........the presentation which, by in large, is aimed at outlining the goals of Giuliani's effort in the state -- which is slated to hold a primary on Jan. 29.

Unfortunately, if the Dem decision to strip Floriduh of delegates for moving up their election stands, yet Florida still keeps their election, a lot of Dems might cross over to vote for liberal pubbies. That is about the only thing that has me worried about Rudy’s chances.

Did you know they’re both Great Americans? At least that’s what they keep telling each other.

Hannity is now, and has been (since 9/11) a one issue person. And that issue is security uber allis. He see’s Rudi as the strongest in that area. Maybe I’m just a poor dumb high school ed-u-micated trucker, but it seems to me that we need to look at the big picture, or we stand the possibility of going to way of the Democrats.

Security is my top issue, but not my only issue. But why does Rudy get to be Mr. Security? Because he handled himself reasonably well after 9/11? Compare that to Bush, who has prevented another catastrophic attack since 9/11. Or Hillary or Hussein Obama who would invite one. But anyway, I like Hannity but he can be annoying. When he isn’t shilling for Rudy its for one of his concerts.

What we've seen from Rooty's campaign so far is not reassuring. At any given time, he says and does whatever is necessary to keep his numbers up. He changes his position on crucual issues as easily as he changes his tie.

For Giuliani nothing is right, nothing is wrong.

Giuliani is from the School of Whatever Works for Me.

Considering Rudy’s opposition to the wall, his stance on illegal aliens, and support for Kerik for Homeland Security, Rudy is weak when it comes to security. Rudy is also afraid of Hillary. Since Rudy’s positions are so close to those of Dems, naturally many of them would want to see him run.

I’ve been feeling so much pressure over Rudy because I never vote for a pro-choice, pro-gay agenda candidate, regardless of qualifications. But I really bought the idea that he’s the only one to give Hillary the thrashing of her life. But I’ve had a wake up call. I realized I cannot compromise on abortion. I will not vote out of fear, only conviction. I’m not dithering over Rudy in the primary anymore. If he gets the nomination, that’s another story. God forgive us if conservatives elect a man who will not take a stand against legal abortion.

Rudy’s stand on Roe vs. Wade is that the issue of abortion should be decided in the political spectrem (state legislatures, state ballot referendums), not by judicial fiat. The pro-life movement takes the same stand.

I don’t think Guiliani has as good a chance as the thinks.

Florida voters are pushing for a marriage amendment.

We also have the state politicians trying to pull a fast one by eliminating the “save our homes” tax cap via a bait and switch.

Thompson has more pull because he is NOT NYC.

many retired NY state retirees still remember NY pulling the “we can still tax you after you move” BS.

Well, that's a convenient conundrum. States cannot legislate abortion until Roe v. Wade is overturned. He says he'll appoint originalist judges, but that's a total crapshoot. His bottom line is he believes abortion should be legal. We've already had eigth years of "legal but rare". It led to abortion at any time for any reason and partial birth abortion. Which Hillary, incidentally, still has not condemned.
