In other news its been reported that Americans have 90 firearms for every 100 people.
God Bless America
So I need one.
This is definitely a good acquisition for both.
I like the way you think Bill.
“In other news its been reported that Americans have 90 firearms for every 100 people.”
I’m doing my part to bring that number up!
Same here!
Im gonna need a 50 BMG as well

Above URL only has one listed.
New Sako TRG-42 in .338 Lapua Magnum Bolt Action. Sometimes you need to reach out a lot further. Thats where the TRG 42 comes in. Chambered for the potent .300 Win. Mag. and the even more powerful .338 Lapua Mag., this is the rifle to reach for when ranges stretch a quarter-mile and more. Like the TRG 22, the stock is adjustable to your specifications, and a detachable magazine makes reloads fast and sure. When you bring the TRG 42, youre ready for anything. 27” Heavy Barrel.
And only four million of those gun owners are a member of the NRA. That’s pathetic.
Many see the NRA as just another list of gun owners. So why put your name on a list like that? Someday it could fall into the wrong hands.
That’s the lamest excuse I have ever heard.
The coward who won’t fight when the fighting is easy certainly won’t fight when it gets difficult.
A quarter-mile is only 440 yards. Easy stuff for any .308, .270, .30-06, etc. I’ve dinged coyotes on the farm 400+ yards away with a .308 - not a problem. Heck, even the poodle-shootin’ .223 can do 440 yards.
I’d reach for a .338 LM out past 800 yards or more. Especially with the 300gr VLD’s now available that have very high BC’s. The .338 in 300gr is one of those nice, high-BC pills that can carry the mail quite a ways... like the 140 to 160gr 6.5mm’s.
Fps is??? Bullet grain wt is?
Ballistic tables in meters
.338 Lapua magnum 250gr lockbase for 27” Barrel

“Thats the lamest excuse I have ever heard.”
I don’t belong to the NRA because I think they are an appeasement organization. Powerful yes but not all that well led. Look at Ted Nugents recent antics with a firearm on stage.
What other gun group stops antigun legislation as much as the NRA? Answer: No one. Not the GOA, SAS or the SAF. No one.
Castle Doctrine.
CCW laws.
Manufacturers Protection Act.
The end of the Assault Weapons Ban.
All brought to you by four million NRA members.
Any government entity that wants to know, already knows I'm a gun owner. My CCW would be their first clue. A trivial exercise would be to have the Post Office compile a list of addresses where gun mags are delivered to.
My main objection to the NRA is that they're wusses
