I suspect he’s a liberal. Otherwise he’d see the obvious: Not a very good way to sell cars.

I drive a Toyota, my next car will be a Toyota but I would go many many miles out of my way to keep from dealing with this jerk.

Funny! If the Spanish speaking audience is watching network TV, they must be able to also speak or read English. This guys wasting his money and his dignity.

he has a right to air his commercials, you have a right to change the channel and to buy/or not his product.
To: longtermmemmory
And his stupid commercial is giving him national wide, FREE publicity. What a deal, huh?
Drive a Chevy, always driven a Chevy and always will drive a Chevy... :)
To: captjanaway
I meant “nationwide”, not “national wide”. Should not type before coffee........

I've seen this on late night TV in Houston. They seem to always have scantily clad cuties in the ads too, something you'd never see in an English ad.

I’d rather watch a Spanish car commercial than Bob’s male enhancement commercial.

Yeah, the Spanish commercial will be showing the big headlights and tail light curves.

As I get older (and less tolerant, when I should be getting more tolerant, I am told) I am having trouble reading labels on foods. What irritates the hell out of me is having to try and find the english part of the labels, some foods have the Spanish in larger print and first on the label. I also get irritated in big cities where “fast” food joints have nothing but Spanish signs. Tolerance, I don’t think so...

Simple - don’t buy his cars, and encourage those you know not to buy from him. Isn’t Democracy wonderful?

Sounds to me like a business decision based on market conditions. That’s the essence of capitalism.
