What principles?

That's the same thing I say about Ron Paul. ;)

Hahahaha!

I almost didn’t, I suspected a “pull my finger” trap.

Good one!

I have been happy with the GOP field since the GOOD Thompson, Tommy Thompson, dropped out. There are no solid conservatives who have been elected statewide left in the race. The most conservating candidate remaining who has been elected statewide is Huckabee. Tancredo and Hunter are solid across the board on conservative issues but stand little chance of winning a primary, let alone the nomination.

Here's where things stand for me now:

WOULD VOTE FOR IN THE GOP PRIMARY
1. Mike Huckabee (good on everything but immigration and taxes)
2. Tom Tancredo (fire in the belly, but probably unelectable)
3. Duncan Hunter (Reaganesque platform, but unable to catch fire)

WILL VOTE FOR ONLY IF IT COMES DOWN TO THEM VS. A TOTAL RINO
4. Mitt Romney (rhetoric sounds great, past record is highly questionable)
5. Fred Thompson (can't figure out why freepers who utterly hate McCain worship his buddy Fred)
6. Sam Brownback (Zzzzzzzzz)

HAVE NO INTENTION OF SUPPORTING IN THE PRIMARY. MIGHT HOLD MY NOSE AND VOTE FOR THEM OVER HILDERBEAST
7. Ron Paul (Surrender monkey & unstable)
8. John McCain (Unstable, backstabber, but at least not a total RINO like Rudy)
9. Rudy Giuliani (total RINO. Had his chance to "beat Hillary" in NY. Blew it)

Cindy Sheehag has a better Chance of getting the Nomination.

She is probably the only person who wants to appease the terrorists more than cut and run. And that would be up for debate.

Let’s cut to the chase: conservative Republicans have only one choice for President in 2008: Congressman Tom Tancredo or Duncan Hunter. Even Fmr. Senator Thompson.

Actually, that's 3 choices.

Here's a little more eye-candy.

Oh, man.

That's some sweet eye-candy,,,

We had a pet tragedy this afternoon (involving duct tape and a baby lizard), and I need something to help me cheer up!

Oh, no... I'm so sorry.

He is lovely, isn’t he?

Thanks for the sympathy. It was very sad; the poor little thing was only an inch long, and hatched just a day or two ago. On the other hand, I wasn’t really wanting to get into lizard breeding, anyway ...

Oh, yes.

Quite lovely.

As for the little lizard, it's good that you can find the silver lining.....

Chuck Baldwin? The guy who wrote the enlightening piece, "Bush in Bed with Homosexuals?"

Dang, you Paulistinians REALLY do not get it, do you?

Being supported by Chuck Baldwin, David Duke and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad IS NOT ATTRACTIVE to most Americans.

We’d have found it a home if it had lived; don’t know what my daughter was thinking with the duct tape - she’s heard of flypaper!

We still have another baby lizard of another species, and Bill is taking care of it quite successfully. We’ll have to take it on our vacation in its little Gladware dish, though - can’t expect the neighbor’s girls (who will be feeding the 4 fish, 2 adult lizards, 2 gerbils, and 1 cat) to dismember crickets for the baby.

I think the *right sort* of men hit their prime at about 60.

We’ve now had two Presidents from Texas in the last 40-odd years. Both have been unrivaled disasters.

Correction: THREE Presidents from Texas.

1.) LBJ - let his idiot SecDef Robert McNamara totally screw the pooch by micromanaging the Vietnam War, then lost his nerve due to his fear of RFK ripping the 'Rat nomination out from under him, and politically turned tail and slinked back to Texas by announcing that (cue mush-mouthed, marbles in cheek accent) "I shall not seek, and I will not accept, the nomination of my party for another term as your president."

2.) GHWB - he forgot that voters elected him because they wanted a continuation of Reagan's policies, and after 'read my lips, no new taxes', and his failure to go toe-to-toe with Bill Clinton and call the Bent One from Arkansas exactly what he is (an amoral liar, thief and adulterer), resulted in the eight years of Clinton/Gore that America damn near didn't recover from.

3.) GWB - You better believe that the current Administration has de-evolved into a disaster, because of the failure to secure our borders, to round up, arrest and deport the illegals that are in this country (contrary to Skeletor Chertoff's babble about 'it can't be done'), combined with the insane compulsion to make nice-nice with the leftist 'Rats like Fat Teddy and his crew, throwing the best SecDef in history under the bus after the '06 elections, and his abysmal 'peering into the soul of Pooty-Poot' nonsense, and you betcha: Bush 43's administration has sadly turned into a disaster, and no amount of icing on a political turd will turn it into a chocolate cake.

Conservatives have taken it up the wazoo for the last time, and I say no more presidential family dynasties, either 'Rat OR Republican.

“2.) GHWB”

I have always considered him to be from Kennebunkport.
