Nifong pleads not guilty to contempt charge

Former Durham District Attorney Mike Nifong pleaded not guilty to a criminal contempt of court charge this morning in the same courtroom where he once prosecuted people accused of crimes.

So he’s not in jail for his crimes? I knew that nothing would happen to him. I knew that the people in charge would give him a light punishment, then wait until we all forgot about it, after the media had filled our minds with Brittny Spears, Anna Nicole Slut, “katrina”, and other garbage.
