Got my info from News Radio 780.

I know that doesn’t carry a lot of weight.......

Just don’t rely on their traffic reports, they’re always wrong.

am I a gunsman or a gunman and am I either when I don't have my gun(s) on me?

Why would you ever be in that condition (gunless)?

“L. Conner, a receptionist at Resurrection Rogers Park Family Practice on the same block as the bank, said her office was on lockdown, as was the entire strip mall where it is located. The mall includes a dentist’s office, a tax service and a Dunkin Donuts, she said.

Also on lockdown is the Newfield Primary Center, at 1707 W. Morse Ave., a pre-kindergarten through 3rd-grade elementary school down the street from the bank, said Mike Vaughn, a Chicago Public Schools spokesman.”

Rogers Park? That brings back memories of Indian dinners followed by Kosher pastries...

Rogers Park makes the front lobby of the U.N. look like a D.A.R. meeting.

My post today of beer man Michael Jackson’s death went from Breaking News to General. Lot of beer drinkers on FR, but I guess it wasn’t newsworthy enough.

Chat? I’m surprised it was moved to chat as well.

CLTV reporting all employees are safe.
No hostages left inside.
Cops sending in robot to see where gunman is.

This is sad . . .

According to THIS LINK to a Tribune story, it is somewhat over. All hostages are accounted for. No injuries or deaths. That is the GOOD NEWS.

The BAD NEWS is they can't find the perp . . . With the hundreds of Chicago Police/FBI/SWAT/HRT/whoever else can carry a gun in Chicago surrounding the Bank . . . the Bank Robber looks to have gotten away. LOL!!!

I’m getting real tired of LE standing around for -hours- and not dealing with a situation.

Initial reports said there was gunfire. LE waited hours to go inside. If this was an active shooter situation, it would have been another massacre.

Denver Post Office, Columbine, Texas McDonalds, Virginia Tech to name just a few.

Also, why are perfectly valid stories being pulled off of Breaking News?

I think I figured out why it was pulled. I failed to include one of 3 criteria needed to be in Breaking News.

1) Blame it on Bush or Carl Rove.

2) Include either " A moose once bit my sister" or "this is series".

3) Go and take a shower.
