White people 'a minority by 2027'

White people living in the UK's second biggest city are likely to find themselves in a minority in 20 years' time, according to researchers.
Birmingham is likely to become a minority white city in 2027
A team of demographers from Manchester University has claimed that the number of white people living in Birmingham will be overtaken by the number of those with other ethnic origins by 2027.
The news came as it emerged that 35 towns and cities in Britain have at least one ward which is "minority white".
And experts have already forecast that Leicester could become the first city in which white people are a minority in four years' time.
Ludi Simpson, a social statistician at Manchester University, said the Pakistani population in Birmingham was likely to double by 2026, but with two-thirds of this increase due to the relatively younger age profile of Pakistanis, rather than increased immigration.
Dr Simpson said: "The overall picture is one of rapid natural growth plus some immigration, mainly of young spouses.
"Birmingham is likely to become a minority white city in 2027, but a diverse one in which the white population remains more than twice the size of the Pakistani population which is predicted to become one fifth of the district's population by then."
But hopes that different ethnic groups could assimilate into a "common identity" in towns and cities were dismissed by Dr Sullivan as "utopian in quite a dangerous way" and "completely unrealistic".
He added that the suburbs, rather than town and city centres were the "sites of real tension".
"Lack of affordable housing, poor environments and anti-social behaviour are the issues, not ethnic composition nor segregation itself," he said.
Nissa Finney, also from Manchester University, told the Royal Geographical Society's annual conference that 35 towns and cities in Britain had at least one ward which was "minority white". These included Birmingham, Burnley, Slough, Peterborough, Bolton and Derby, as well as Brent, Tower Hamlets, Ealing and Newham within London.
Miss Finney said the increasing proportion of non-whites in these wards was more linked with "natural population dynamics" like moving areas to be nearer family or friends, than with immigration.
She told the conference: "Clustering is the result of benign and natural population dynamics. There is no evidence of self-segregation or exceptional 'white flight'."
Trevor Phillips, the chairman of the Commission for Equality and Human Rights, said that "tough decisions" will have to be made as some more areas become "plural cities" where no one race holds a majority.
Mr Phillips said: "Events across Europe have shown how segregation breeds mistrust and fracture.
"The benefits of plural cities can be great, but we need to look at the future and act responsibly."
I want you to consider the motives of our nation for the most part, and remember where they came from. Look, we’re not lilly white from the inception of our nation to where we are today. Slavery and prejudice was present and ramifications are still being felt today, but our system of government and good will overcame a lot to provide perhaps the best chance of success for the broadest spectrum of people in the history of the planet. This was based on the Christian ethic and the morals of White Europeans, for the most part, that set up systems that were designed to overcome problems in time, that couldn’t be overcome in the here and now.
This is rather long-winded, but the point is, you don’t have to look very far to see some very disturbing examples of societies that do not reflect our good nature and good will. Our goal is not to conquer and rule over people. Our goal is the advance the cause of peace through confronting evil.
If you think the world will be as good a place in the absense of White Christian leadership anywhere on the planet, then you and I disagree soundly.
I raise this issue, because it’s my perception that people have not considered this issue enough. Despite the fact that they don’t, the Caucasian nations of the planet are seeing their Caucasian populations dwindle as a percentage. Yes the birth-rates are somewhat deminished, but the real problem is that these nations are flooding themselves with people who do not share their values system.
By 2050 the world will be on the verge of having no nations where Caucasian Christians are the majority.
Now, do you still see this issue as non important?
I guess I’m kindof reading something into your comments, but this, “One can either be a rat or a cat. No harm in either. Populations will adjust either way. It’s just the way of things.” seemed to indicate to me that you don’t see any of this as a problem.
Was I wrong. If so, I appologize. This issue is an important one to me, and I think it goes beyond what I think, to what is best for the planet overall.
I have not problem with there being a place where just aboue every race can make their own determinations of their destiny, so don’t get me wrong. I just think that my race has as much right as any other to self-rule.
Interesting. I haven’t been to Great Adventure since I was a teen. Two weeks ago, my teen daughter went with a couple friends - one friend’s mom had extra tickets for her company’s picnic. My kids have never been there and we heard such horrible stories so never had an interest in taking them - it’s not too far from where we live - about an hour. I told her to be careful and informed her what it would be like from what I heard. Philly and NYC bus in a lot of kids from schools, various social programs, etc.
She was still surprised. And said exactly what you posted.

Immigrants can be assimilated into even an old, European society, but effort has to be made on the part of both immigrants and natives (or, since the United Kingdom is in Europe, aboriginal people).

Are you referring to the Anglo-Saxons (historically ruled by Norman French--themselves descended from Scandinavia) who drove indigenous Britons into Wales, who could have been the descendants of mainland Celts who drove out the theorized Iberian settlers of the British Isles?
One group displacing another has happened multiple times during history.
With assimilation, the immigrants can become the indigenous people.
From the above, the Norman French spoke their dialect of French and were Frenchmen, even though their ancestry traced to Scandinavia.
In this case, and the parallel one in the United States, people are getting a bit jumpy considering those of European descent (or 'aboriginal' British--what's that?) are still set to be the easy plurality. In the British case, Birmingham is just one city, and not even the largest.

That’s what I was going to say. Whites will still be the plurality in B’ham. Some people here aren’t really that mathematically literate. If they were, they would still know by percentage, there are more whites in B’ham than any other people, but they don’t comprise of more than 50%. And besides, it’s a non-issue, the real issue is how to get all of those people assimilated, not if they’re black, white, south Asian or east Asian.
The UK is doomed because they practice cultural balkanization, something hopefully none of our FRiends will ever buy into.

Already, Europe is heavily atheist. And the United States is going that direction, too.
Christian leadership is more pressing than European/European-descended leadership.
And and to be technical, the United States is neither European-descended nor Christian; there are plenty of non-Europeans and non-Christians in this nation, including from the inception of this country, though European descendants and Christians did make much, if not most, of the contributions to the founding the United States.

I agree, but we haven’t. The UK is 92.9% white anglo saxon celtic christian and 2.6% muslim. The UK has let in fewer muslims since 1950 than the US has since 1995. Muslim immigration is reducing year on year in the UK since 2001 and increasing every year in the US. The US has had white minority cities for many decades, we might have one by 2027 and even then muslims will be a minority compared to hindus and sikhs. The US has more african-american converts to islam than the UK has total muslim population. The US has open borders and no idea how many muslims there are - take your pick between 2.8m and 12m.

A lot of white folks yes, but you can bet that nowhere near 93 percent of the population is a practicing christian. The UK is a very secular place. And yes you are bending over backwards to accommodate the muzzies. They are aggressive and they breed like rabbits. The UK is in real danger. London already looks like a losing battle.

The Nation of Islam and Islam aren’t the same thing and the US has a much larger populaton.

All that matters is the age distribution [i.e. whether the Muslims are disproportionately young and the Brits are disproportionately old], the total fertility rate [live births per woman per fertile lifetime], and the generational rate [age at which women make their babies].
If the numbers are skewed too badly, e.g. vastly disproportionate numbers of Brits are old & barren, vastly disproportionate numbers of Muslims are young & fertile, Brit women having a TFR between 1.0 and 1.5 versus Muslim women having a TFR between 3.0 and 4.0, and Brit women having children at the ages of 30-40 versus Muslim girls having children at the ages of 15-20, etc etc etc, then your country will become Muslim in the blink of an eye.
By the way, whites in the USA are almost effectively a minority already:

As you say, flooding a country with those who do not share values is a disaster waiting to happen, or rather it is happening.
