This ad is too gay.

It's as discreet as it can possibly be. And Mitt was not, as someone said earlier, wearing short-shorts. I thought Mitt was pretty modest, wearing good running gear. And the staging of the camera shots deliberately excluded flesh unless you really look close. Would you be happy if he ran in a burqa?

I liked the way Mitt had enough wind while running at a medium clip to still give his ending campaign message. And contrary to that snotty reporter in Iowa who said he'd never seen Mitt perspire (Mitt: "It's been known to happen."), Mitt was perspiring just a bit in the video.

And he looks like a dork running with his hands so low

He has very good form for cross-country running. He wasn't sprinting.

I say after the next debate we make them do 5 laps around the block. Then McCain will finally drop out for sure. :D

We RP fans will take you up. Ron won distance running events when he was out for track. I think he's still got it. LOL.

I'm trying to picture Fred, Tanc, Duncan, McStain, in track shorts. It ain't pretty. But Fred has lost some weight recently.

The thought of any of the nine republican candidates in tight track shorts isn't pretty.

I think Mitt looked as good as any guy who’s sixty can look. And I think RP would cut a thin but fit figure. Skinny guys always do. And Ron is pretty perky too, quite a lot of energy for his age.

>If you know anything about the Deep South (where I orginated)

Things have changed in the south since the 60's.

Oh, I have a lot of respect for McCain. My father was a fighter pilot in Vietnam (and the rest of his AF career.) I was just kind of surprised because a McCain supporter on FR is rarer than a Sassquatch siting! (He seems to garner an irrational amount of contempt.) He isn’t my favorite, but I would be perfectly happy with him as a candidate. Unlike most people, I’m very happy with our bench. Everyone else is waiting for the second coming of a mythical version of Reagan. As long as the nominee isn’t Ron Paul or Newt Gringrich, either of whom would both be political suicide, I’m content.

I don’t know the details on Romney’s draft, but I doubt you could put him in the same category as Clinton. I know Guiliani isn’t in the same category. Clinton received a draft notice and lied to get out of it. Whatever you think of Guiliani — or Gingrich or Cheney or Bush for that matter -— they followed through on whatever arrangements or circumstances kept them from being drafted. Clinton did not.

I think it's a good ad. One can't argue that Romney is out of shape or unattractive. I'm a Fred supporter, though. Obviously, looks aren't that important to me. :)

The ad is very nice. Mitt runs fine. The green-eyed monster is raging around here. Sheesh.

“Skinny guys always do.” I’ve long held the theory that guys with skinny legs are liberal. RP’s skinny legs buttress my theory!

I think the video is pretty accurate. Athletic, outdoorsy, Scouting kind of guy. That's just who he is. Well, all that and a lifelong Rodent Hunter Extraordinaire! LOL.

Distance runners generally are your medium height skinny guys. It's a natural advantage between muscle and body mass when compared to the general population.

I guess you enjoy pictures of Xlinton's white pasty thighs instead.

His thighs are pasty and flabby, but his calves are skinny.
