I think Congress should pass a law requiring all the states to hold the primaries on a certain date. This “we have to be first” is BS. I’m sick of it already. Just imagine how the next race will look. I imagine we could have primaries by September at this rate.

Why not have a national primary where all the states and territories vote in their respective caucus's and primaries on the same day. The results would be held until the last poll closes in American Samoa. That way, no state would have any advantage and we wouldn't be voting in a primary for the candidate 12 years from now......

What's going on now will surely come to no good end.

A Lottery, on the day after the general election. The names of the states are drawn to 10 groups of five. The ten groups are then drawn again to match ten dates. Ten days, covering 10 weeks in April, May and Jun.

That will insure each year is different and end this oneupmanship going on. Each year random, the days may end up small with 5 less populated states of huge if CA, FL and NY all get the same week.

So be it. It's my bet most will be balanced and the race will be a race.
