***Professor of Industrial Relations?
No industry detected in his resume. He is a professor of a subject about which he has zero knowledge. Typical.***
EVERY professor should be FORCED to work in his chosen field every third year so that he’d have some idea of what the heck he’s talking about. But, NOOOOOOO, he’s too busy writing books which will be antiquated within two years but which he forces his students to buy in order to attend his class. Then he does a re-write of his book which is essentially the same as the first book, which means no student can buy a used copy, and the professor sells more books.
Oh it's cyclical alright. Here is how the cycle goes in general.
Useful idiots, such as the "professor", continuously float out wacky socialist/communistic notions that only a few years before would have had them laughed out of their profession.
Then, useful idiot media outlets pick up the ball and further massage the idea and question if maybe there isn't some "plausibility" to it, thereby making it palatable for the masses to "consider."
After which, a far-left Stooge or Mouthpiece/Politician/Spokesperson like Al Sharpton or Eddie Kennedy, who are not so much useful idiots as they know the gameplan for socialism, and they turn the argument for the latest social giveaway into a race issue or a hater issue and voila!! The masses simply must save the latest downtrodden, unlucky, poor victim of right-wing, bigoted policies aimed at the "most vulnerable of us all."
And that's how the cycle goes.
