Why is this man not in prison for sedition and treason? Doesn't the executive branch run foreign policy in America? Are all the democrats going to make a pilgrimage to see Bashar Assad? What happened to the country I grew up in?

Why is this man not in prison for sedition and treason? Doesn't the executive branch run foreign policy in America? Because you know perfectly well that the press would spin the trial - not the crime that led to it - as the real outrage, and because too few Americans continue to think. Nope, it's become a seventh-grade popularity contest, my FRiend.

This is sedition, you are right my friend.
You’d think the Democrats have been beaten and bruised once too many times by the Assad clan, yet they keep on coming back for more wallopings.
Worse part is it shows just how little real power Assad holds in the country. He is now an impotent figurehead, not unlike Qaddifi’s son.

Hey,Assad...feel free to take that clown hostage if you wish. But be prepared to receieve a *very* sternly worded letter of protest from our 4th Assistant Deputy Secretary of State for International Understanding and Enlightenment if you do.

Kucinich (D-OH) Meets President Assad in Syria...
his leader...piglosi has stated ...all peace plans go thorugh damascus...and she is always right!!!!
To: 2ndDivisionVet
Kucinich and his wife Elizabeth visited the ancient holy site of Notre Dame de Saydanaya, where today fully veiled Muslim women worship together with Christians.
IMHO this is either an outright lie or was a staged event. Googling doesn't turn up any corroboration for this.

What happened to the country I grew up in?It is still here. The domestic enemies are exposing themselves. We are fortunate that we can still vote them out of office.

Well, let's see....
In the '70's, he systematically destroyed the City of Cleveland's economy, driving out many major employers and putting the city in bankruptcy. Now, he wants to destroy the United States of America.
He's a useless communist and I really don't understand how people can be so stupid as to continually re-elect this idiot.

"We must stand for strength through peace, for a sovereign and unified Iraq. President Assad is willing for Syria to play a significant role in assisting in the stabilization of Iraq," said Kucinich. We're not sure that this is am accurate quote as Kucinich's enunciation was impaired by Assad's falafel.
