Duncan Hunter Interview with Hugh Hewitt

Yup, his guests are the best. I can’t cite an example about him denying it but I do remember my reaction a few times when I said to myself “c’mon Hugh, you know you’re 100% behind Mitt”.

Not this time. We are gonna swat the liars.

I forgot about that piece. I enjoyed reading it again.

Last night out of curiosity I did a little digging via Google. I just typed in the words “Home Depot” etc and then search within results for “Recall info”.

It’s astounding how many recalls there are out there and how many of those products are made in China. We ain’t gittin no deal.

Hugh Hewitt could learn a lot from a man like Duncan Hunter. (guess you can tell I am not a fan of Hewitt the rino haha).

I can handle Sean Hannity ok, even though he is a Rudy guy yuk. He does other things I like about him

But Hugh Hewitt is a total rino.

I like them both for pulling in the same general direction. However, I’m often suprised how little they know about the candidates histories.

I was half-ready to jump on you for being rude for that before I realized that was his actual handle. Some mornings, it's not so easy to tell self-deprecation from a crass insult.

I should go back to bed or make more tea, or possibly both.

I never listen to Hannity but spot on about HH. He tries to deny it but he’s totally a Mitt guy.

Not a figure of speech. Hugh Hewitt's hagiography of Romney, "A Mormon in the White House?" was published about 6 months ago.

He's pretty even-handed on air, and he's still my favorite talk host (though I'm losing my enchantment with the whole medium these days), but it's difficult to miss that he is a four-square Romney man.

I do think he's turning into kind of a hack, though. I still listen because he's got some awesome guests.

I like HH best when it's not an election year -- when he's not pushing an agenda. And one of my favorite features of his is the "smart guys" segments, with a liberal and conservative talking about issues in the courts. First because rarely does anyone else talk about legal issues, and also because everyone remains calm and respectful.

It's a pleasant contrast to the shoultfests on cable. I usually come away from an HH segment knowing more about both sides of the argument than I knew before. I can't say the same after watching people scream at each other on TV.
