Roger that. Amid the calls for increasing the size of the military now is lost the inconvenient truth that it was the Clinton Janus which cut the military 40%--while giving the Peoples Republic of China the U.S. edge in missiles, warheads, and any other platform or system which was requested.

Also in the Clinton list of dubious achievements, the attempt to nationalize that seventh of the U.S. economy involving medical care, altogether with the largest tax increase in the nation's history.

From Time Magazine, April 30, 1979 regarding Carter vs. Reagan: Asked to choose between the two men as candidates for President, those questioned in the survey divided evenly, 42% for each man, with 16% undecided. In this test matching, Carter managed to better Reagan only in the Midwest, while losing the Northeast, the West and even his native South to the former California Governor.

I don't trust polls.

I think when Thompson starts repeating his message, he will pass Guiliani and clinton like they are nailed to the ground.

I agree. Rasmussen is one of the most accurate pollsters. In the 2004 election, he was one of the few who predicted that President Bush would win by 51%.

I disregard all the other “push-polls” and rely on Rasmussen only. With this poll, I feel pretty good about the GOP’s chances in 2008.

The liberal tears that will be shed from losing 3 elections in a row will raise the sea level more than global warming could ever do. :)

Funniest line of the day!

“Conservatives need to unite and win in 2008. Remember, run like you’re 10 points behind.”

That says it all. With the last coment you are one of the few around here who has gotten the message.

I suppose you are right. Still, I woudn’t doubt that Hillary’s brain trust (read:co-conspirators) are hard at work trying to identify and enlist a candidate who would help her. Maybe I should be fitted for a tin-foil hat, but I put nothing past the “Clinton-nostra”.

That person is of course one of those people listed by pollsters in the “will not vote” column. You and I both know they are going to vote for Rudy and that will add 2-3% more to his total. I hope they realize the squeaky wheel in any coalition gets the grease. It would be damn stupid of them to blow being in the position of power for once.

Bozo the Clown is within striking distance of HRC.

Then Bozo is better than L.Ron Paul, because if it ever--God forbid--came to Hillary v. L.Ron, that Maoist wench would win every electoral vote.

There is the story about the old bull and the young bull standing on the crest of the hill looking down on a herd of cows. The young bull says to the old bull, "Let's run down and get us some." The old bull slowly turns to the young bull and says, "Let's walk down and get'm all."

Is this an actual experience from Fred's time as a bachelor? :)

“Hillary just isn’t that popular...”

She doesn’t have the same charisma as Bill. I might dislike Bill’s politics, but he’s an excellent speaker...very few compare to him.

Plus she is left of Bill, and most moderate dems will be a bit weary of her.

Plus Hillary has met her saturation point, and Fred is not yet known by all the right-leaners. He could only go up, unless there’s a total blunder in the future.

Wait. Something’s wrong. We’re saying we could vote for a ticket with Rudy on it and no one’s telling us we don’t belong here.

Thompson hasn’t yet entered the race.

In any case, head to heads also haven’t picked up Clinton’s ties to Hsu.

Rudy better not be the republican nominee.
