Baloney. He had a tearful, heart-wrenching, story (lie, actually) about someone dying in a back alley abortion. Watch the video.
The back-alley-abortion story was a lie.
A lie to get elected in liberal MA.
Now, he’s lying to you, pretending to be a conservative.
I mean, how transparent was his JOINING THE NRA a week before annoucing he was going to run for President?!@ (Before running Mitt Romney was pro-gun control. Did he change his mind on that, TOO? AND gay rights?!)
Mitt is transparently fake.

I wish debates were required in the Constitution.
Many debates, Including all candidates with marginal numbers. And LOTS of questions from the public. I want to hear EVERY candidate attack and defend against every other candidate. Just my .02

The only ones that aren’t are Duncan, Ron Paul and Tom Tancredo. The rest are just acting the part they think will get the gig. The only presidential candidate I know of who didn’t ‘modify’ their views (much) was Ike because he was so darn popular and basically ‘centrist’.
The interesting phenomenon to watch is that in every election all candidates run to the extremes to get the nomination, since ‘true believers’ are the ones that put in the work and show up in the primaries, and then inevitably run to the center in the general because the money, votes, statistics and conventional wisdom show that’s where the ‘masses’ are.
2008: same dance, different dancers; wannabee Reagan's and JFK’s.
just my .02

Romney stuck his head in the camera shot and gave Obama a big "Hello, Senator!" Obama seemed mildly amused. So cool. Romney may be seen as 'slick', but he's also spontaneous and a quick wit.

Okay Mitt. Go out and find 100 average, off the street Americans. Ask them if they watched any of those five debates that are so precious to you. I betcha $100, no more than ten watched. I'll betcha another $100 that a majority of them are unaware any debates have taken place. If Im right, maybe Fred is on to something? Um, yeah, Thompson's on to something - the average American is overweight, hasn't read a book in the last year, and is generally clueless. There's also a pretty good chance they won't vote.

Romney has it....that wit, that charm, and that reagan humor....

Too bad Romney openly said he hated how Reagan governed.

Romney said the same things in 2002. Do you need to see this video, too?
