Correct.
In this video, Romney: (1) gives an impassioned pro-abortion speech; (2) comes out in favor of gays as scoutmasters; (3) comes out in favor of gun-control; and (4) favors all sorts of new Affirmative-action garbage.
Romney’s answer is “I’ve changed my mind” (on all the fundamental issues of the day). How convenient!
I was very uncomfortable watching that clip. Why is he running as a republican?
I watched the video. I only saw one issue he changed on. What I got from the video was that he has his own personal views on abortion which he doesn’t want to impose on others. Whatever his views, he said we obey the law. If we don’t like the law we can change it. He said he thought all should be able to participate in BSA, but the organization has a right to choose its leaders. I think he still feels that way, and I suppose the BSA feels that way too. He said he was for using publicity to help women break through the glass ceiling. He didn’t say anything about force, quotas or affirmative action.
Except for the issue of abortion on which he has changed, which of those positions do you disagree with?
