He should have seen this coming. But he lost his head & now what’s done is done. I’m guessing once you pull out it’s too late to pout.

Oh G*d, if he's serious about possibly reversing his decision to resign then it's time to bring out the long knives (metaphorically speaking) and get rid of him once and for all.

He never bothered to get a lawyer who could have damn well gotten the case thrown out. Absolutely inexcusable. Then after pleading guilty and having the case blow up in his face he then says he wants to get a legal team together and try and reverse the plea. WTF??? After being humiliated in front of the entire country he holds a nationally televised press conference and announces his intent to resign Sept. 30th.

The Governor of Idaho announces that he has selected the Lt. Governor to replace Craig. The Pubbies breath a sigh of relief that they have finally put this mess behind them once and for all.

Now he comes back and says that he's reconsidering his decision to resign. I have never seen a more inept handling of a scandal, ever. He is clearly a very self destructive individual.

"The cop didn’t know this guy was a Senator"

I'm not so sure about that. As for believing police officers. HA HA HA HA HA HA You must be joking or don't live in a big city. The cops in Houston are a bunch of crooks who have lied to me about something I saw with my own eyes and 2 feet from the police officer.

I wish I could support the police but as long as cities keep hiring total losers and then using them to collect 'taxes' I won't give them the benefit of the doubt.

Yes, that would be great! Carry it through, bring the dead rats to the floor of the Senate! The Kennedys, Jefferson, Frank, Pelosi, Reid ... call their damn hands for the bloody hell they are!

Craig has ZERO to lose!

I don’t believe one way or the other. I am willing to give someone the benefit of the doubt however.

I think they have.

I wouldn’t be surprised if he hangs on for a few months just running the party through the mud until he is “forced” to switch parties.

Remember he’s gay first, then a Rhino.

People need to see this for what it is, it is not Republican vs Democrat (though they are accepting of gays), it is a gay problem.

He was hiding the fact he was gay while pretending to be a conservative Republican.

“You solicited me”

“You entrapped me”

Good point.

In other words: “You tempted me with your man meat and I was weak and wanted it so bad I took a wide stance and tapped toes.”

Was he wearing his favorite ruby slippers?

Lugar next.... Please!!

>>I knew it !!
He said the word “intent” to resign. <<

I wondered why he used that word with such pause and deliberation..........

” I am not defending this guy, never even heard of him until this incident. But really, what a way to set someone up “

You hit it right. If this had been a Dem, the talk would all have been about “What the heck ae the cops doing rousting homosexuals? Don’t they have something more important to do?” It would be a major scandal-for the cops.

Wait, (like Craig) I’ve changed my mind. It definitely has to be ‘Knock Three Times’ by Tony Orlando. (if you’re old enough to know that one)

Well, if Larry Craig wasn’t planning on leaving on Sept. 30 he had better plan on it now. There’s no way he can stay. He blatantly stood there and lied about his “intent”.

I would not be surprised if Craig kills himself. (I hope it's not the case, but....)I hope his family keeps a close eye on him. His life has fallen apart, and he seems to eb the type who is used to getting off on his own power and influence. Take that away and he has nothing.

It's worth a lot....in today's political climate, nothing is out of the realm.

That is why I question why any good man or woman would want to serve this Country

Seems as though any person who would subject themselves to the scrutiny and out and out lies told about them, must be willing to endure for nefarious reasons

He wasn't thinking with his head. There is no way to wipe the slate clean now.

Craig tried to get off the hook by switching positions. He said “You solicited me” to the LEO. How did Craig know those acts were a solicitation?

But nevermind, the Larry Craig Truthers 6/11 Truth Commission will never desist.

So you are calling this guy a bad cop? For busting a pervert, who plead guilty to the charge?

As noted in an above post none of the guys busted on COPS for getting a prostitute where looking for sex either.

The point is moot, he plead guilty, announced his intention of resigning. As another previous post stated this is a John Kerry,”I was for resigning before I was against it” moment.

The man should not be in Congress for the way he has handled this.
