Swedish Muslim group to sue newspaper over Muhammad drawing

A Swedish Muslim group on Tuesday said it plans to sue a local newspaper for publishing a drawing of the Prophet Muhammad with a dog's body. The Nerikes Allehanda newspaper in Orebro printed the cartoon made by artist Lars Vilks in an August 19 editorial that criticized Swedish art galleries for not displaying Vilks' art.
Mahmoud Aldebe, chairman of the Swedish Muslim Federation, said the group would sue the newspaper for inciting hatred against ethnic groups. "It ridicules our religion. This is discriminating and insulting... they want to see just how far they are able to go by pushing the boundaries of press freedom," he said. (AP)

Ironically, seeing that drawing didn’t affect my opinion on Islam one way or the other. But hearing that these SOBs are trying to sue a newspaper to suppress freedom of the press and terrify people into being afraid to speak freely for fear of offending a Muslim, now THAT makes me despise them and want to oppose them in every way. Therefore, since it is they who are bringing Islam into disrepute and besmirching its name before the world, isn’t it their duty to exact retribution by cutting off their own heads?
Let them sue. They won’t win.

If I was a judge, I’d almost just take their case to ridicule them.
