'TV FRED ONLY ACTS TOUGH'
New York Post ^ | September 5, 2007 | CARL CAMPANILE

September 5, 2007 -- A top adviser to Rudy Giuliani yesterday trashed rival Fred Thompson as an actor whose experience fighting crime is busting make-believe criminals on television. "Rudy is a real crime fighter," said Rep. Peter King (R-L.I.). "Fred Thompson has primarily done it on television." King, former chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, is an adviser to Giuliani on national-security issues.

Rudy is a cream puff Nancy Boy from and Upper Middle Class suburb...

That's hard to believe knowing that his father served a long stretch or two in the pokey.

I don’t know, but I’ve been pumping money into the campaign because I feel he’s the only one that speaks conservative.

Rooty knows the difference, but Fred hasn’t a clue.

Fred Thompson Announces Change in Campaign Managers

Tuesday, July 24, 2007

WASHINGTON — Republican presidential hopeful Fred Thompson is replacing his acting campaign manager with former senator and energy secretary Spencer Abraham and Florida GOP strategist Randy Enright.

Thompson spokeswoman Linda Rozett said acting campaign manager Tom Collamore, former vice president of food and tobacco giant Altria, still will advise the campaign. Collamore has helped organize the campaign for Thompson, who has not officially jumped into the race.

Abraham is a former Michigan senator who lost a bid for re-election in 2000 to Democratic Sen. Debbie Stabenow.

Rozett said Enright and Abraham both would be in charge of Thompson’s campaign. Enright is heading the political operation and Abraham doesn’t yet have a title, Rozett said.

Fred Thompson and Spencer Abraham: Bad combo
By Michelle Malkin • July 26, 2007 11:41 AM In my 2002 book Invasion (p. 71, 76), I noted the open-borders obstructionism of former Sen. Spencer Abraham (R-Michigan), who fought to block the implementation of two different tracking databases–one for foreign student visa holders and the other for all temporary visitors (which was mandated by Section 110 of the 1996 Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act). Abraham led efforts to starve the first database of funding and crusaded several times to kill Section 110 altogether. On September 11, 2001, neither of those databases was in place. To this day, they remain incomplete.

Now, Fred Thompson has gone and hired Open Border Spence as his acting campaign manager

Bad, bad move. If the Fred campaign is trying to win over grass-roots conservatives, this is a dumb way to do it.

Debbie Schlussel has followed the soft-on-terrorism career of Spencer Abraham. Yikes.

I guess Fox and MM are liars too?

I never said Schussel was a liar, I said she was WRONG. There's a difference. All of these sources used the same sources for their incorrect information. Again, that makes them wrong, not liars.

Note the key sentences: "replacing his acting campaign manager with former senator and energy secretary Spencer Abraham and Florida GOP strategist Randy Enright... Enright is heading the political operation and Abraham doesn’t yet have a title."

People in the media read more into that than there was, and then reported on each other's misconceptions.

I don’t disagree with you about supporting him.

I only said I would like to see a stronger commercial.

Rudy grew up in Garden City. Do a Wiki search and check out the median income.

Fred Thompson can act like a President, as Giuliani can act like a republican.. And Romney can act like he is a christian..

The only two real presidential candidates are Newt and Duncan.. America wants an actor for preseident so they will choose Hitlery (a traitor) whom acts like a patriot.. 2008 will be the first real time presidential sitcom..

GMAB, as is well-known I was a member of CFR for quite some time.

The CFR is a debate society; reflecting solid conservative views (such as my own, William F. Buckley, and Tom Tancredo), as well as liberal nutjobs.

Think of it as Hardball for the pin-head set.

All membership means is that the person is respected in whatever field they are in (me, oil) and can tolerate debating people with differing opinions.

Careful.. it was already pointed out that William F Buckley was no conservative (not kidding)..

This just proves my point that if you take all scientific classifications of what a ‘Conservative’ is, we find out it is a mythical beast that does not exist.. it is a fantasy told to children around the fireside along with tales of knights in Reagan attire battling for the individual over the system. Even animals that generally have always been classified as Conservative aren’t really Conservatives, either because of their former habitat (as in your case, being formerly of the watering hole CFRville) or in a plant that animal must have eaten (as in Buckley’s case, eating the leaf of the PanamaCanal Tree.)

Back in 1966 Pat Brown had several actors (Dan Blocker was one) who talked about being an actor and playing roles and ending with “Pat Brown is not an acting governor.” This argument was not successful in heading off Ronald Reagan’s election as California governor.
