Immigrant workers left their jobs Wednesday and lined Valley streets holding signs with slogans such as “I am your cook,” and “Sorry your house isn’t clean.”

Motorists passing by yelled racial slurs and other phrases such as “Go back to Mexico!” But the protesters stood their ground.
“The people out here represent the thousands of families who live in the shadows of fear,” said Joel Aguilar, one of about 30 protesters who showed up near Main Street and Alma School Road in Mesa.
The Mesa demonstration was one of many organized by Immigrantes Sin Fronteras, or Immigrants Without Borders, against a new Arizona law that threatens employers who knowingly hire illegal immigrants with permanent loss of their business licenses.
Protesters have lined Valley streets daily during a nine-day campaign that will end Saturday.

My mom, 100% Texan, was born to legal Mexican immigrants. Speaking spanish in public or in their home was not allow. Her parents, my grandparents, were proud Americans.
I heard that today too!! And haven’t received any alerts about it or any further news. Ridiculous double-speak acronym as they try to sneak in all their amnesty bill provisions!

A comparable sticker such as "ILLEGALS OUT!" on the car would also get the point across.
One of 30 protesters? I would venture to guess that this is a smaller count than the illegal family that Sr. Aguilar has in the Valley of the Sun. Not much of a protest showing.
IMHO what needs to be focused on are the self-appointed “journalists” who cooked up this story. Do you really believe the oh so perfect quotes are really from illegals? That might be, but I’d bet $100.00 that most everything in that article was custom crafted by the, ahem, “journalists”. I have come to believe that about 60-80% of the content in these stories is fake (but accurately Ratherized) and is written by Libs who create stories and narratives that they think SHOULD be true, and since they’re doing the lords work, whats the harm?
The purpose of such articles - At least one important purpose - Is to get the reader to focus their anger on the illegals and forget the central role of the activist journalist who insert themselves into the middle of this/
