OK, this is your chance to make a statement about your favorite statement! Have the last word about the last words. You get the idea. As you can tell, it’s not easy to find the right words. There’s an art to a great tagline, and these nominees are some of the best ever written. Last year, Texas Department of Transportation and FedEx entered the Madison Avenue Advertising Walk of Fame. Choose your words wisely. Vote for your favorite now!

TOPICS: News/Current Events
KEYWORDS: marines; poll; slogan; usmc; vote
Opportunity to get the Marine Corp slogan on the madison ave walk of fame here. Second row, center. Freep away.

Heh...I’ve _never_ been a Marine but voted in favor of my Marine buddies, anyway.

“The Few. The Proud. The Marines”

Thanks to Berlin Freeper for this one! Vote for the Marine slogan!

FREEP THIS POLL ***PING!*** FRmail me if you want to be added or removed from the Fearless Poll-Freeping Freepers Ping list. And be sure to ping me to any polls that need Freepin', if I miss them. (looks like a medium volume list) (gordongekko909, founder of the pinglist, stays on the list until his ghost signs up for the list)

Voted, now if only they would bring back that chess commerical. The cute guy in uniform and the horse made my little teenager heart go pitterpat.... lol
That said...horses still make my heart go pitterpat...but as for the guys in uniform...I had to narrow it down to one...and his uniform is green. :P

Speaking of slogans, and the Army (ok, so it’s just me)...man do I ever miss “be all that you can be”. It was right on up there with “the few, the proud.” That “Army of One” business is so...blech.

I have never even heard some of those slogans (the Pepsi one for example). So, I had my 7 year old daughter come over...once she got what the whole thing was about, it turns out the only one she recognised was Allstate...and then she promptly started singing the Nationwide jingle. Apparently she pays attention to insurance commercials. Sure enough, she then goes into telling me that I can save tons of money if I switch to Geico...15 minutes...blah blah! So, now, thanks to this one little vote, I have to discuss insurance and advertising with a 7 yr old. LOL She wants to know why our company of choice (USAA) doesn’t run commericals all the time like the others! LOL

I’m Air Force, but compared to the other slogans, it was a no-brainer even for this old Master Sergeant.
