Agree....He’s laughing at the 24 hr sentence for contempt. Reckon he’ll be having steak and lobster tonight? I bet so.

I am outraged at the 24 Hr sentence for what he did. That’s not even a “slap” on the wrist. What kind of justice is that?
This is just the middle of a long process. He already lost his job, and lost his career through losing his law license. Then there's the possibility that he was forced to resign before he had enough time in his position to get the fat DA retirement package he was gunning for when he railroaded the players (I hope so). Now there's this. Next, the players' lawyers are apparently spinning up their lawsuit machines. I hope they hit him personally instead of just the city.

You’ve got some good posts. Nifong should have been sentenced to at least a week doing four nights in the showers with the rest of the population and nothing to wash with but liquid soap.
I noticed that all the faces with Nifong are white.
He is a proud and arrogant man who is suffering his most humiliating day.
The amount of contempt that the whole nation has felt for this man is extraordinary...and richly deserved.
The fact that he dragged it out so long and snookered so many ultimately made it all the worse. Even liberals have contempt for him -- he made fools of them.
It is a remarkably thing to bring such international infamy to yourself operating from such a piddling podium as the Durham DA's office.
This man will be recognized wherever he goes for the rest of his life. His name will probably enter the dictionary -- to nifong.
Sure...he got off light in terms of the jail time he deserved. But his life is ruined. He ought to be on suicide watch.
The Lax boys suffered mightily and they will be remembered by history in connection with this matter. But their lives are not ruined...not by any means.
The miscreants in this matter who escaped justice are CGM, Broadhead and the his Duke lynch mob, and the other "liberals" who were so eager to destroy the lives of the Lax boys.
