Ron Paul is not a conservative, he is a Libertarian in Republican drag, and some of his past and present Libertarian buddies are weird, to say the least

Paul does lean Libertarian but makes no qualms about it. Rudy, Mitt, and McCain are trying to pass themselves off as Conservatives. To hear Rudy talk about himself you would think be believes he is Reagan's ghost or reincarnation. Rudy Mitt and McCain are die hard Rockefeller Liberals with not a conservative bone in them. Fred at the very best is Moderate. He was my senator. He started out strong elected in a special election. By the end of his second term many posters forget he was one of the most despised Republicans in this forum. Fred sold out not once but several times.

Huckabee I consider to be the real moderate. Paul is Libertarian Conservative, Tancredo is Conservative and Hunter is as well. Thompson means four more years of failed Bush policy so does McCain as he sponsored many Bush bad ideas. Rudy and Mitt means same as Hillary.

If a moderate Republican gets in expect 4 more years of a weak GOP of which one side follows POTUS right or wrong even in doing the DEMs work for them. The remaining Conservatives are left hanging out to dry counting on conservative DEMs to help them.

The GOP can afford loosing the Oval Office but I honestly don't believe that will happen if it runs an actual Conservative this time. If the GOP doesn't get a strong Conservative leader ASAP there may not be any turning around of the GOP. I think this election if if goes moderate in the primaries may well be the GOP's death keel. Conservatives are getting tired of being told to shut up and vote for Liberal A or B especially in the primaries. They are also tired of Boogieman tactics the RNC and party leader use to try and scare people into voting for the most liberal RINO so a DEM doesn't win.

I've sen very decent good long standing Conservative writers and activist trashed in here by the Partybot NEOCON's who thinks Bush is never wrong and when he is we must support him anyway. Mention Howard Phillips, Paul Weyrich, for example and the hyenas come out loking for a meal to devour. Why? Because they speak against policies of the king. Before Bush worship started they were hero's. It's been months likely over a year since I've seen a Chuck Baldwin article in here and where are the good guys who wrote outstanding postlike Sheltonmac? The NEOCON's ran them off just as they will this election in the name of party Damage Control.

The GOP has become an empty echo chamber for required Amens to Brother Bush's failures and is wanting four morte years of the same? Not on my vote they don't. Will the last Conservative leaving the GOP please turn out the light?

While I salute your patriotism and love of county, these are the same arguments (not that I disagree with all of them) that we all heard in 1992 about Bush 41, etc...........

These same sentiments helped drive enough people to Perot to give Clinton the presidency, even when cooler heads told them exactly what was going to happen..........

These same sentiments help re-elect Clinton to a second term over Dole..........Both Bush 41 and Dole were World War II heroes who came very close to making the ultimate sacrifice, on more than one occasion, but, because they weren't conservative enough, votes were blindly thrown away so that a lying, cheating, corrupt, draft-dodging communist could become president of this country. The first communist ever to serve as our Commander-In-Chief (if not a communist, doing a damn good impression of one).

Ron Paul cannot win the Republican Primary, it is statistically impossible for him to do so, BUT, if enough people get behind him, he will, IMO, run as a third party candidate and help put the wife of the first communist ever to become a U.S. President into that same office. If Ron Paul runs as a third party candidate, it will guarantee Hillary Clinton a win. He will run as a third party candidate if he can generate enough energy with folks like you and others..............

Many Freepers here are sounding a warning voice to all who will listen, but there will be many who will vote for an Independent Paul, even if it proves instrumental in putting the most corrupt couple ever to reside in the White House back in there again..............

The Perot voters thumbed their noses at the warnings and we now have public schools teaching that homosexuality is normal and healthy (a coommunist goal), the politicization of every part of the federal government (a communist tactic), our most guarded and sensitive weapons secrets given/sold to the communists (another communist goal), our Military was cut off at the knees and demoralized (another communist goal - thank God Bush 43 has worked towards correcting this - and, if you don't think so look at the difference in the receptions that he gets as opposed to the receptions that Hillary and Kerry get when they visit the Troops), when Clinton left office every cabinet and agency was missing huge amounts of money, millions, hundreds of millions, even billions (money to help fund the communist agenda), Clinton appointed as many socialist and communist judges as he possibly could, put as many homosexuals in government as he could, tried to force the Military to accept openly active homosexuals, tried to get homosexual pornography sold on Military bases, massively cut funds to the DEA and made blasé remarks about drugs, which led to teen drug use doubling almost overnight, (ALL COMMUNIST GOALS)..............I'm just scratching the surface here, this list could go on for a very long time...........

So, if you want to help install the communists back in the White House, then by all means, give Ron Paul as much support as you can, so much that it will help convince him that he is a viable third party candidate............because we cannot have someone in the White House who is not 100% conservative, it would be better to have communists in there..............wait, Ron Paul is not a conservative, oh, well, it doesn't matter, screw everyone else, I'm voting for him anyway...............

There are much better ways to try to affect change in government than supporting someone who cannot win, and with such support (should he go Independent), almost guaranteeing godless evil in the White House (as opposed to not quite conservative enough people in the White House).................

With all due respect, can you maybe get a glimpse of why so many Freepers are coming down so hard on Paul?
