Yup! He did...and as punishment guess what he got? A suspension from Parliament for 21 days! And British citizens wonder why they’re getting flushed down the toilet (that they invented, for Chrissake)! I love this country, but I love mine more, and I’ve asked my British friends, “Why the Hell do you not stand up and let your voice be heard?” It works in America, as far as I know, as we don’t (yet) have Mexican flags flying over our schools, because we bitch about it and stop it from happening. I think some, believe me not all, Brits are too lazy and used to being taken care of by Labour that they don’t want to lose their Government-given pub money to vote, hence Labour has done their job. Keep people unemployed, stupid and drunk. Galloway fits into this like a glove, only he uses the “disenchanted Islamic population” to get him votes. That swine (and I don’t mean to insult pigs)needs to be hung for treason.

Regarding the people being kept unemployed, stupid and drunk, I hope you’re exaggerating. Certainly any leftist government wants stupid voters. That’s a given. But if “pub money” is really being provide to the populace (presumably courtesy of the middle classes), then I imagine those middle classes will soon be looking for pastures anew. Escaping to the Stockbroker Belt and the Surrey hills soon won’t be enough.
Socialist governments can only push decent, educated people so far before they leave en masse. In the USSR, they didn’t have a choice because if you complained or tried to leave you’d be sent to a gulag somewhere. How can the Labor politicians think that Cambridge-educated people are just going to “take it” for the sake of tradition? There are lots of lovely, sunny places, once part of the empire, that would welcome these people. I predict a mass exodus of large numbers of the best and brightest from England’s shores; and there goes the tax base.
