Democrats are afraid of confrontation with our enemeies (yet so willing with fellow Americans)
Blue Hawaii

The Democrats claim their foremost theme is to fight for the ordinary folk, American (am I right or wrong?). They do great damage to their “ordinary folk” by shirking their duty. That basic duty is to defend America.

Why are they so afraid, so cowardly lion-like to confront the bad guys in this world? Appeasement begets and breeds more violent hostility to all things American.

Feel free to give your guesswork if you wish.

Democrats are so damn afraid and cowardly to say to the terrorists and other beings that threaten American interests and way of life (Venezeluas Chavez), “We are going to kick your ASS!” and do it (except to their fellow Americans). Bombing a milk factory (Clinton) does not count. I'm suprised you did not forewarn them where and when with grids of what we are going to hit.

If they were not afraid of confronting the enemy, they fear they might become republicans.

Either way, they’re afraid.

The Democrats claim their foremost theme is to fight for the ordinary folk, American.

It usually starts with taking more of their money. After all, we can never have enough poor people complaining that the rich have too much...

The US has two philosophies as to how to approach our enemies. The wise way and the foolish way.

The Republicans try to confront our enemies head on. They see the primary reason for animosity against us being that these other nations are not free real democracies. If they were, then there would be no hatred. We have learned over the years of our nation, that the only nations we could trust as friends are free, real democracies. Dealing with anyone else was almost always disappointing.

This means that Republicans have to embrace several assumptions. First of all, that outside of murderous chaos, the vast majority of humanity will choose democracy and freedom. And that is because the ideas of democracy and freedom make sense even to the most uneducated peasant under the heel of the most brutal tyrant. Those that do not choose democracy and freedom are the real enemy, and not just to us, but to all mankind. They lust to be tyrants.

However, the Democrat party has a very different and dark view of the world. To begin with, they do not see all people as being equal. They imagine that there are some number of elites who are born to rule, and the vast majority of mankind are inferiors, who need to be ruled.

For this reason, they feel that whoever has the reigns of power around the world are the natural leaders. And seeing themselves as elites, as well, they always seek to embrace these tyrants as friends. Democracy and freedom are beyond the inferior people of the world. But elites should be the natural allies of other elites. That is, the democrats see vicious tyrants as well as faceless and anti-democratic Eurocrats as their peers.

And the democrats are not alone in this belief. It is held by leftists around the world. The belief system of elitism is cold and cruel, and as reliant on promulgating their own inflated sense of superiority as striving to keep those they see as inferior down.

That is why they are fonts of public largesse to the poor, but only as long as the poor are dependent on that largesse. And any effort by the poor to improve themselves must be stopped.

And this is also why the leftists support the “downtrodden minorities”, but bitterly and racially hate minorities that prove themselves not just capable, but better than the self-appointed elite leftists. Condoleeza Rice is to be hated, because she behaves as the superior person she is, “beyond her station.” But the left adored Tracy Chapman, because she was stereotypical, humble, and above all, downtrodden and inferior. She made them feel superior.

In truth, if there are inferior people, it is those that crave to dominate others, and to turn what they know is their real inferiority into a sense that they are in fact superior to others. This is why Democrats continually harp on their own brilliance, and perpetually deride Republican leaders as stupid, deranged, animal-like, or senile.

It is no wonder that Republicans dominate foreign policy, in that their vision is clear. They know who to trust, who they have to get along with, even though they don’t trust them, and who are just evil villains. But the eyes of Democrats are so clouded with their self-pity, self-importance, illusions and delusions, that they cannot tell friend from foe, American from foreigner, diplomacy from threat.

They can envision no attack from those they see as peers. So they are horrified at even having a national defense. And even when we are attacked by an enemy, the Democrats are full of denial and think that it must be the work of the evil Republicans, those who stand between them and their natural role as elite rulers.
