Palestinian sources told Ynet that the man was apparently involved in the kidnapping of IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

Gilad Shalit was kidnapped on June 25th, 2006. The IDF hasn't abandoned him, nor will they. I seriously doubt that the Israeli people will cry about the waterboarding (or worse) of this Hamas animal.
