The more the MSM investigates, the harder it is to determine if Hsu had any vaguely legitimate source of income. Indeed, from his claimed sources of income, it looks like he was a bankrupt grifter who ought to be spending his time between jails and homeless shelters. However, (OH, LORD WILL THOU VOUCHSAFE POOR ME SUCH A MIRACLE) he was able to fly transcontinental charter jets, contribute hundreds of thousands of dollars to the DemonRat party, afford top-flight lawyers, including his current ones, and throw away $2,000,000 cash bail. Now, poor, innocent Hillary has to explain how she used him as a top contributor and bundler without determining what his real sources of income were.

As a practitioner years ago before the Federal Election Commission, these transactions through the accounts of Components, Ltd., demonstrate a series of felonies under the election laws, by all of the people whose names appear on the transactions, and this is only one month,

Based on the previous Chinese donors to the Clintons you can expect some ties to the Chinese intelligence services.

One would think the IRS would take an interest in some of these transactions. :-)

It’s to the point that the MSM can no longer ignore it. As much as they yearn to shill for the ‘Beast, this is WAY too juicy a story.

In all, he has raised more than $1 million for Democrats. This kind of money generally comes with strings attached.

My bet is still that Hsu was funneling money from the Chi-Coms into US political races to get candidates elected who would look favorably on Chinese interests and take no issue with Chinese military expansion, i.e, liberal Democrats.

Now, poor, innocent Hillary has to explain how she used him as a top contributor and bundler without determining what his real sources of income wereI don't see why. I just searched the print edition of today's NYTimes, and could not find a single mention of anything related to Hsu at all. It will probably be removed from the NYTimes web site soon and then "forgotten."

I was at our local grocery store today and one of the newspapers found 3 local companies political contributions that mirror Mr Hsu's contributions. I believe it was an Allentown Pa. newspaper that was investigating this.
Most of our local papers are not typical Liberal Talking point rags, so I'm hoping to here more in the future.

On Friday, a lawyer for Mr. Hsu, E. Lawrence Barcella of Washington, declined to comment on the financial records. He has said that Mr. Hsu never provided money to anyone to make contributions.Perhaps he reimbursed them immediately after thay had written sort of bad checks. We will always have to parse the words when they involve the Clintons.

I wonder if Mr. Hsu will be able to get his 2M$ bail back if he returns to California? Any Ca. legal freeper out there that could answer?
May sound like a silly question, but I believe I read Fed charges of fleeing would be dropped when/if Hsu goes back to California...

So far no such fame for Norman Hsu.

Latest news has it he will be handed over to the county jail when the hospital deems him well enough to be released. A man who can make $2M bail is probably not going to get the heave-ho from any hospital until he’s good and ready.

The NYT was late to this party. They didn’t want to come. I just think they had no choice. This unnamed associate of Hsu’s that produced the juicy one-month financial record probably went to the NYT and said “there’s more where this came from.” NYT could pass and continue to ignore it (which I have no doubt was their first choice) while the guy takes it to the WSJ. If it was going to get out one way or the other, the NYT probably figured they might as well get a piece of the action.
The bad part of the NYT now having this source is that the DNC is no longer working blind. They now have a sneak preview of everything days or weeks before it comes out. Hillary and Cuomo and Rendell et al were blindsided by the WSJ story, which is the only reason it’s stuck so far.

Great! You linked the printer friendly version. Folks with only dialup service appreciate that. Stories like this need to be checked for the frontpage, please. That the NY Times is following this story on its front page is heavy duty politics.
