Over the past ten years...I’ve read an awful lot...from both books and the internet. I’ve continually found that when stupid arguments come up...especially over global warming or things Bush did...when you start citing actual references, dates, etc....the argument is dead within 60 seconds. The other guy tends to feel left out in this argument because he based his stance on emotion...not fact. I would strongly encourage people to subscribe to high quality information magazines (not Newsweek or Time though)...read deeply on situations...and to have five key talking points with facts ready to go on the top 25 subjects of the month. Your arguments will be shorter and almost non-existent after a while.

What magazines do you recommend? I swore off mags a long time ago. Couldn’t deal with the bias.
