Absolutely great idea! We all should flood the house with letters/faxes (tangible pieces of evidence) - let them know we support her. She's a junior in the house and they will pile on her in try and make her be quiet - they will punish her in an attempt to "teach her her place" at the back of the bus!
If they see she gets a big noise from We the People - they'll get a bit nervous
That is super!!
Thanks for keeping up the good work!
BTW:
Thank you for the kind offer but - as per my post # 12 - I’m an old retired fart now.
Just adopt as many as you can and remember those single soldiers with little or no family need mail also.

I just tried to send her an email but she only accepts fro her district. I am going to call and let her know I appreciate her stance. I hope she accepts calls from folks who are not from her district.
Will do. That is why we make up packages for the entire platoon. With the holidays just around the corner we will be starting to collect stuff for them soon.
I’m glad you created the opportunity to spread the news and I hope others will take this opportunity to sign up with Soldiers Angels, Operation AC, AnySoldier.com, books for soldiers or many other similiar organizations serving our troops.
I’ve been sending care packages since 2004. As you and Vinnie said they need to hear from us. Here are some of the recent comments I’ve received from my soldiers/sailors:
“Thank you for the awesome packages you’ve sent throughout our deployment. We all look forward to mail day and we also appreciate your correspondence via e-mail. Your prayers and kind words mean the most to us.” - Brad
” I did recieve your care package. The mail process is not very swift here. I really appreciate the snacks. We have to skip meals alot and it’s nice to have something on the go. Thanks again!” - Wayne
“I can’t thank you enough for setting us up with the angels. I haven’t recieved a piece of mail from anyone except you and the angel...stupid friends and family. Anyway you’re the best.” -Allan
“You guys are really having a major impact on morale here as I had hoped. Some of the guys are planning on visiting their Angels when they get home to say thank you. You are all doing God’s work. I hope you know that. “ - Matt
” I really apppreciate the cards sent by the people also, it was very interesting to read all the different people that support us. Thanks again, I really appreciate it and hope to hear from you soon.” - Mike
It’s a worthy use of time considering what they do for us ~ April
